It’s so awful isn’t it. I dread the early dark now that clock change is coming. I’ve moved house and have no choice but to go down a short alley to get to my flat block and I’m so worried about it when I get back from work in the winter. The nearest bus stop is also 10mins from my flat, so even walking that distance by myself is scaring me. It really shouldn’t be like this x

Hi Shannon I’ve been watching you for a few years now and live your content. It doesn’t t surprise me about the case of the 85year old the youth of today have no adults to give them good examples. Me and my daughters were crossing the street and an old man booted us to get out of the way and started shouting aggressively at us! I had a few words back but this is what people are like today!

A man was walking behind me and I thought when I walked faster so did he,when I slowed down,so did he,then he shouted for me!! He said “excuse me,let me get in front of you pet I can tell you’re nervous” Isn’t it a sad state of affairs? I felt terrible thinking he might of been dodgy,and he must of felt uncomfortable,knowing I was worried xxx

I think it's always been bad ,attacks on both women and men, but now we have more media to highlight it. Often we only hear news if it's bad and the news is more readily available now, up to 24hrs a day. I won't watch the news it's to depressing. But years ago before ready access news/internet and internet phones we weren't as aware of such issues. Also divorce used to be shameful so women & men just used to accept violence and controlling behaviour :( so noone knew it was happening

I only wear one of my ear plugs in when out walking, my phone inside my bag, only look at it with my back to a wall or shop window making sure there is nobody around. You have everything on your phone so too too precious to loose. Stay vigilant ladies ( and guys too) ❤

I never used to worry too much I'm same age as Mama G but I worked very closely to a man that murdered 2 young women in the 80s and was doing many vile things to dead bodies in a mortuary ( David Fuller case). I'm waiting for counselling, when that will be who knows. I have been diagnosed with PTSD and now I trust no men and I'm scared to leave the house. This world is now a scary place. Your content brings me joy and helps me keep sane. Xxx

For women's safety, men need to be more aware what the hell they are doing, and people need to speak up if they see something that's not right, not us learning martial arts. There's a saying l learn few years ago: men are scared women will laugh at them, and women are scared men will kill them. So true these days but am sure women safety have always been a issue we are more aware of it now cause of the media.

Hi Shan, I’m loving watching you get yr first home renovated. ❤ Yr so right about the justice system, my sister was murdered by her partner 3 yrs ago ….20th aug just gone was 3 yrs, and we only just got to trial in June and it still isn’t resolved, court dates given and then changed, jury in jury out, then it’s postponed again as the outcome was supposed to be 6th sept. So we are still left hanging! It’s absolutely outrageous Shan. Would have been done and dusted if it was a bank robbery! Anyway, you are doing amazingly and I love all yr videos and spend days sometimes just leaving you on in the background( hope that helps) Much love to you and mumma G and Dan xx

Hi Shannon x great awareness for women's safety x I live a 15 min walk from home to where I work and have to walk through a green area x and with working nights soon will be going and coming home in the dark...this year I've invested in a female defence kit including alarm,whistle, etc and can be sure it'll be taken with me this year xx ❤❤❤ love to everyone xx ❤❤❤

Hi Shannon in my opinion watching my Country from Australia, I think your biggest problem is migration. In Australia Women are safer my Daughters are safer in our society at the moment. Australia does have Women killed by Men though usually domestic murders. Interesting subject take care

You could do a Shan's challenge series, i.e say it or shot it, eating in one colour, ordering what the person Infront orders etc etc or a reacting to confessions series like on Reddit or something

Very interesting have to say they have always blamed women for the way they dress when attacked it was wroung back in day and wrong now nothing changed just more media coverage... sorry Shannon about alarm 😂😂 it was middle of 2013 only remember as 3 things happened lost my best friend 😢 tyler was born❤ then lost our dog 😢 and they came knocking on door just been corrected bu his nibs 50 quid to have it put in was 29 then last year got a free upgrade now its 30 maybe they were new at time all i know is it was a good deal 😊 sorry you had such a bad experience... love and hugs sweetheart ❤❤❤

Shannon I was in a very abusive relationship, I have to live a life in fear and trauma, he got 6mths. There is no fear of police and jail, they know they will get out in a few years. Give them life, no parole just like America, they would think twice, ❤❤

You can get alarms it's bad when you are frightened to walk streets I seen that about the women your talking what happened to her

The minute a woman reports a man ( or visa versa ) for harassment- he / she should be pulled in for serious questioning. Furthermore, his / her name should be put on a stalker register. A community officer asking a few questions is a joke and the stalker knows it!
