I'm not from Andhra, and Telugu isn't my mother tongue, but watching this video really made me reflect on how English is gradually taking over our native languages. It's disheartening to see that even children are not using their mother tongue, Telugu, in everyday conversations. This is a clear example of how English is slowly eroding our linguistic heritage. I have noticed that they speak English only if there is a necessity and just regard it as a language. Additionally, their subjects, laws, administration everything is in their native languages only. Likewise, developed nations such as Norway, Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Japan pretty much follow the same thing.
