so whats next? Gravel into the footings and then boards go up for concrete pour? what about the pad, will they be able to lay fines on there and/or insulation? would that affect the footing depth?

Veji Hi there, id say they boxed both sides of the footing, poured the concrete, (no gravel in the footing) once set they will de box the inside and build up with compactable metal with a 20mm sand blinding on top before the hole thing gets concrete to complete. hope this helps, Cheers

What brand of excavator do you have?
