Google search console is such a waste of time for small business owners. Why does google treat getting indexed high in searches like an wicked easter egg hunt using your tools. You may have submitter the url incorrectly. Delete it and do it again remembering you only need to enter the end part of the sitemap URL. Use a plugin like All In One SEO Pack to generate your sitemap if using a WordPress website. your sitemap url you place in Google Search if using a WP website should look like this post-sitemap.xml
