Sitevision Stock Pile Measurement

In this video, SITECH Intermountain will demonstrate how to use Trimble SiteVision for stockpile measurement. SiteVision is a software application that uses 3D imagery and data from a Trimble GNSS receiver to measure the volume of stockpiles. This can be a useful tool for construction contractors, mining companies, and other businesses that need to track the volume of materials they are storing.
To measure a stockpile with SiteVision, you will need the following equipment:
Trimble SiteVision software
A Trimble GNSS receiver
A data collector
A camera
A computer
Once you have gathered your equipment, follow these steps to measure a stockpile with SiteVision:
1. Open SiteVision and create a new project.
2. Import the 3D imagery and GNSS data into the project.
3. Select the stockpile you want to measure.
4. Define the boundaries of the stockpile.
5. SiteVision will calculate the volume of the stockpile.
You can then export the stockpile volume data to a CSV file.
