For anyone looking for parts set 75348 Fang Fighter vs tie interceptor has both tile pieces used here. I additionally used a 1x2 light gray plate under the 2x6 tile to close up the gap at the front. Awesome work @2bricks

Such a simple yet effective change! I haven't bought the set yet, but that is definitely a change I'm going to make. The bulb was one of the reasons I hesitated getting the set. P.S. I got the Fondor moc of yours. It was the first moc for which I had bought instructions and it is just great!

This is just perfect. Great mod! I'm definitely adding this to mine. I noticed that you have the landing gear feet pointed down to make up for the length if you swap the red techinic pins for a light grey technic axel that is 3 studs long it's the perfect length and makes them look way better and they still are able to fold up and fit without any modifications

You could probably extend the landing gear a tad with a couple pieces so it rests higher while remaining flat for stability. I'm thinking probably using the small flat cross axel connectors. The cross axel lock nut piece if you will... it's hard to describe. 😆

Yeah, it would only take one...maybe two on each side with a slightly longer axel to make it land flat. I'll be testing this landing gear theory myself when I get mine built.

Love the mod, and it totally works for me! The only other bit that is staring me in the face is the chin under the nose! The bottom of the nose is supposed to be as slender as the top, and only about halfway back is there some kind of thicker structure involved.

Yeah I agree- this one might warrant a full overhaul to smooth out all those rough edges. But we will see if I have time!

Wasn't interested in this set due to the bump but this looks way better, will pick it up on sale, not sure but for the two 1x2 on top of each other would maybe replace one with that 4x2 with the 2 studs on top and move one of the 1x2 to the bottom of the front of the slope, closing that little gap at the front a bit, not sure if that would work. Will have to see when I get it.

It was bigger and more impressive, but I think this one is *slightly* more accurate overall. I love the Watto that came in the 2015 one though so that might give it the edge, though here of course we get Saw Gerrera, so...for me its about even!
