I like the raspy-voiced guest Sith (Malgrath) who went back and forth with the usual narrator, who I assume is some kind of professor or lecturer at a new Sith Academy, given his format. Historically, the Sith after the Brotherhood of Darkness were characterized by unilateral dictation until ended by their apprentices, who were never really in a position to play off them in discussions as subordinate usurpers nor were the non-apprentices (can't use the M-word, KZbin has me on a personal shltlist) inclined to give their apprentices that privilege. This exchange was a pleasant divergence from that rhetorically lonesome pattern; I like to imagine there are MANY Sith in this here unspecified future and such conversations are a welcome and commonplace intersection of thought that give them a pro-social edge like the Jedi. There are so many misconceptions and blind falsehoods that are essentially impossible to weed out without the aide of intelligent sounding boards who can challenge and critique otherwise unexamined faults of logic and recollection. One shudders to imagine how many Sith perished in myopic, egocentric quests that may've been augmented or redirected to better ambitions if only another that Sith respected said, _"You don't see the silliness in X focus or the vulnerability in factor Y? I don't know, man. This seems like a BAD idea."_

This story of Maul’s beginnings isn’t how it is told in the Darth Plagueis novel. Maul’s mother gave him to Sidious as an infant to keep him from being discovered by the Night Sister Mother.

⁠@@AdrienS555It doesn’t say that in the novel. It just says that Maul’s birth mother came up to Palpatine after spotting him in a crowd and offered her baby to Palpatine. She had two boys and wanted to save one. Talzin only knew of the one. So Palpatine accepted him and kept him on Mustafar in the care of the custodial droids. After he finally told Plagueis about Maul, Plagueis asked Palpatine if Talzin would ever come looking for the child. Palpatine said that it remained to be seen. Plagueis told him that it would be his business if she does. Those are the only mention of Mother Talzin in the novel.

Correct. This was retconned in the Son Of Dathomir comic, as it was revealed that Maul was the biological son of Mother Talzin. I have mixed feelings about this retcon. It's interesting to see that Maul inherited his potential from a powerful witch, but this also takes away his agency as a character due to being used as a pawn yet again.

@@havco501st7 considering his origins, he could have been both. His obsession with Kenobi is what led to his demise. If Anakin went to Mandalore instead of Ashoka, there's a good chance we'd never witness Vader. Not to say Anakin was the inferior duelist, but his tendency to use his rage in battles would have let him down if he faced a being forged by the Dark Side.

Learn humility/ducking and building core body strength, is standing, dropping/pulling yourself down on your knees, and bowing. As for the pull cable rope holding your body weight on the other end. Try not getting your arms yank over your head losing control of the rope/bar. Now as for the counterweight to start from bowing/ on your knees, pull up to your chest and push lift above your head, trying to stand the first few dozen times can lead to injuries. Something about Wiccan, and elemental magic research around the world of pulling down sky energy and then pulling up earth energy. Then you have books on crystal & stone mineral magic.
