What's next on the LIST....It's the X-men Finale...The Sith List is getting ready to delve into the much-awaited Marvel's Xmen '97 series. We're watching Episode 10 Tolerance is Extinction Part 3. This is the third episode of a 3 part finale.
Remember It" explores the X-Men's efforts as Genosha prepares to join the UN, with specific team members embarking on a trip to the island nation for diplomatic recognition. Yet, tensions escalate when a clandestine press event at the mansion jeopardizes the secrecy of the X-Men.
They're Back and so is our childhood, we can't wait to see what Wolverine and the crew have in store for us.
“Storm and Wolverine try to continue the X-Men. Magneto comes in and wants to step up for Charles Xavier. Sinister comes in to try to end the X-Men once and for all.”

Everyone expecting Onslaught immediately, people forgetting that Onslaught was a slow burn in the background that was revealed fully over 2 years AFTER Xavier mindwiped Magneto.

Well, they rushing through the comic stories. They did about 100 issues and final of the Inferno Saga within 30 Minutes. So two years in the 97 Cosmo could be 2 month. 😂

My bet is we get to see next season Charles slowly becoming more and more angry and despondent, then reveals his true intentions later in the season. We should be getting at least an entire season of Onslaught. I'm assuming season 2 is the prequel, season 3 the full Onslaught saga.

This episode was actually overwhelming and like I was actually worried for quite a few minutes whether if all the characters will make it through alive or not. The superhero cameos, the emotions, the fight sequences, the background score was a complete rollercoaster ride, it gives me so much hope and happiness for the future seasons of this show, cannot wait for season 2, 3, and 4. (I hope they revive Spiderman 1998 series, loved his and Mary Jane's cameo.) The opening sequence was really nice, I initially thought we were watching a flashback or memory of Magneto with Professor X in the past as young scientists post-WWII, but then the reveal happens that they are both in Magneto's mind, as Professor X is trying to repair his fractured psyche. I am surprised they did not do the Onslaught route, where Magneto's resentment, anger, bitterness overpowers Professor X's abilities and their minds are merged as the new, unstoppable entity known as Onslaught. Cable's psionic moment with his parents was very touching. Cyclops cutting loose against Bastion and Jean as the Phoenix incinerating Bastion was such a high moment. Young En Sabah Nur is eventually destined to become Apocalypse, kind of like young Nathaniel Richards is eventually destined to become Kang the Conqueror. Gambit is going to become Apocalypse's Horseman of Death. Mother Askani who raises young Nathan/Cable in distant future is actually a much elder version of Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean. Bishop's back in the present and the he references his friendship with the much older version of Forge in the distant future, it reminded me of the friendship with the Protagonist and Neil in the movie Tenet. All in all, 10/10.

En Sabah Nur is a young Apocalypse while Mother Askani is the Rachel Summers time displaced daughter of Jean and Scott, she is also called Phoenix. She cameo in the future of Bastion as a slave fixing the Golden Gate bridge. Read on the comic titles: Askani Son, the Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix. Also, Gambit became the horseman Death in recent comics.

Morph was Reed Richards, I’m psyched that we may get young Rachel Summers if we got Mother Aksani. The Phoenix never leaves Jean, a portion of its power always resides in Jean, that’s been her entire story in the books, it always comes back and it’s not dark anymore because it took Jeans humanity into itself. It came to her again when she died in the current storyline, so it’s always with her. Rachel Summers carries a portion of the Phoenix force and they met once in the time stream. It’s so powerful that just a portion of its power makes a human being godlike.

Jean didn't summon the Phoenix. She said she felt it was still somewhere deep inside her and when it sensed Cable in danger it came out. I think it has a psychic link with Jean or her bloodline. Like it was shown in Cable's flash to his future Rachael Summers has the Phoenix Force or some measure of it. I don't think it was fully Phoenix. Just a portion of its power.

well that new "suit" of bastian is from messiah x, if am not wrong and he get beated by hope with fenix force. for a moment in this episode i thought as soon i saw jean with fenix that she would end bastian. the final was ok, alot happening, huge salad of things happening with connection with alot of comic books runs, but i guess it ends ok. i didnt understand how sunspot and jubilee can be alive in open space like that and how they return to earth, but what ever.

How does everyone not know that they are on Astroid M and not the Moon? Why does everyone assume some how Rogue knocks Bastion to the Moon when he was about to destroy the gravity core on the Asteroid?

Onslaught was a slow burn in the comics. He didn’t just show up instantly, he slowly revealed himself in the mindscape

Considering they did the entire Goblin Queen/Inferno saga in one episode, it wasn't out of the question that they would do the same for Onslaught. They did the buildup to it so it stands to reason we would assume it would be the conclusion. It seems they are slowing down the pace and it's a good thing that they changed things up and surprised us. The vitriol in those comments though is completely unnecessary
