Yes, I love the look of the claro! For the jumbo, I‘ve gotta ger myself motivated to make the mold and bending forms. Don‘t know why I‘m kinda dreading it.

Chris are you going to make the jumbo upper bouts more angular like your OM design? I really like that look and it could be your “signature “ look 😎 I don’t envy your MDF tasks ahead- that’s a lot of work but what the heck- ya gotta do it!

Yes, since the OM and the gibson jumbo have basically the same width at the upper bout and at the waste, I’m thinking I will likely copy kinda what I did with the OM. If it doesn’t look good, I’ll probably just fiddle around with it. That’s how I ended up with the OM shape. Thanks for watching!

Ok, so maybe I have to be less stubborn about not watching Instagram. 🙄 The back and sides look great. I recently watched Driftwoods video about using walnut and I am intrigued. I will be anxious to see how you feel about the sound when you finish.

I was the same way about Instagram, haha. I was really resistant to using it. But I’m glad I did. There are so many custom guitar builders on there. I get so much inspiration from seeing all of their posts. I get a lot of ideas too about how to do things. I have questions in my head during my builds and then I see a random picture from one of those builders of them doing some basic random task and it answers the questions in my head. There have been multiple times where I saw a picture and thought “ah, that’s how you do that!”
