I think one of the best things about the book - and about Malala talking about Pakistan all the time is her love for her homeland. In the book, she talks about the beauty and all the things she loved about 'home'. She didn't flee and say "thank God I'm away from there, what a horrible place". The love she has for Pakistan and the Swat Valley keeps her positive about changes and hopeful there is a better future there. God bless.

cijmoalbal i m from Pakistan... She is totally wrong... She is lier... Our pakistan is good... If she really want a change for pakistan.. So why she thinks just for herself ?.. If she is correct so she should think about all pakistani girls.. Not only for herself ..

FYI Pakistan isn't a horrible place its all black propaganda against Pakistan
@laibajubbein87453 жыл бұрын
@@hey_itzz_mee. black propaganda? Being a Pakistani who's born in UK, I can personally say I love Pakistan. I loved going there as a child and as an adult. However, I can't lie when I say that there are certain places in Pakistan in which there are corrupt situations. Although now in more developing cities in Pakistan, it's more common for girls to receive education.

Stop objectifying her. She is just like everyone else. This isn't why you should become someone elses friend!
@tinaa34596 жыл бұрын
Lisaa xo objectifying??! Loool😂 I have a friend crush on her!! Being friends with a person like that is gold just as I felt towards some people after reading their books like Sheryl Sandberg, Seth Godin's Linchpin, Sophia Amoruso, Adam Braun, Simon Sinek, Phil Knight..u get the picture. U have them in your midst and you happen to click as friends, what is there not to celebrate! More opportunities to engage with their minds and feel super proud you have friends who dare to shake up the world we live in

In my school we are doing reading book clubs and there were many books on the chart. One of the books were I Am Malala and knowing about her as I’m also a Pakistani, it’s inspiring me so much. I never knew how much impact your dad had on you and how much he did until I began reading. I have not completed the book yet though I’m around nearly getting to page 200. I love the story and as a person who doesn’t like to read, this one had a significant impact on me so far. I loved how you included personal stories like when you stole from your friend yet you still feel bad about it and how things slowly began going like television and you couldn’t watch your favourite movies. Lots of love from Canada!
