Cold showers/Baths or even Ice Baths are an incredibly good mood lifter, I love them. They're particularly useful if you've just been sat around all day doing nothing, essentially gives you the feel of a post work-out without the work-out for a short time.

Oh man, the childhood games story brings back memories. My entire class and I went camping for the weekend after prom (this is some 13 years ago at this point 😂) and we were conveniently placed next to a horseshoe pit. However, we didn’t have any horse shoes. What we had - was hatchets. We proceeded to throw hatchets back and forth, drunk out of our minds, until one of them hit the ground, skipped up, and hit my friend in the face. Fortunately, it was the blunt side and he only had a small cut on the side of his face. But that was enough to never play hatchet toss again. However, I remember it very fondly.

Bro… I was listening to this on Spotify, and I just had the craziest mindfvk just happen to me. I starting listening to this at work, got caught up in irl concerns and completely forgot about the episode. Anyways, I just came back to listen while Asmon was explaining how often he showers, and I’m just chilling to them talk. Then out of nowhere this voice pops in and starts giving his two cents about ice baths. I’m like “Is this their tech guy or something?” You know because podcasts often have that guy that randomly pops in from time to time like that “Jamie pull up that clip for me…” I must be listening to a solid 10 minutes or so, and I’m just thinking “Man this tech guy is really feeling chatty today. What’s his deal? Is he new to this episode, or are they just encouraging him to talk more?” Anyways, I just remembered MeatCanyon was on the episode, and I literally feeling like I’m thirty years old and only just finding out now Santa ain’t real. On one hand I feel devastated because tech guy was coming in clutch with solid banter keeping it all good. On the other hand, I’m like “Oh yeah guess this Meat guy is alright though.” I’ll be honest I don’t really know how to feel about it all though, I just got my mind to a really weird place listening to this podcast somehow. 10/10 experience though. Would recommend if I wasn’t too lazy to give my review Apple review.
