Yeah, that's a great moment of Bunny expressing a good understanding of both her surroundings, and what words mean. Particularly because it means she's using the word 'was' to say 'it used to be here, but it isn't now', which is a logical leap I'm excited to see.

I was thinking, what if a dog friend was visiting, and you asked Bunny what that dog wanted? Do you think Bunny could translate for another dog? So you think they can communicate complex or specific thoughts with each other? Like talking about something that isn’t there? Maybe she could tell us what information they get from sniffing each other’s behinds.

I love how Bunny is using the words "look" and "go" more and more as adverbs and to put emphazise on certain parts of her sentences. My cat does this without buttons to the point it’s hilarious. She managed to get two meals or treats at a time with it to the point a person had to be appointed as the meal giver. Originally she ate when she needed because she was more active but new neighbors moved in with dogs and she has anxiety. So she became a smart ass about it and the vet put a stop to it when she gained weight.

Ok, a couple of things: A) the sound of going down those steps in a first person view made me think of a video game and how it sounds. I cant get enough how much I keep getting mindblown from Bunny. The dogs can remember. You don't get trained to say "look here and come here" then follow up was "here was tug go" has enough raw meaning to asks where the tug was. Even if its out of pure training, it had enough sociation with the words to know that "look here come here" gets attention, "tug" means that specific toy. The dog is actually communicating. It also seems like it actively tries to learn what words could associate too which is amazing. I seen that behavior more recent videos.

Have you introduced " sleep or dream" to Bunny yet? I'd love to know if she remembers her running dreams ? All our dogs and cats dream. It would be wonderful to know that they have happy dreams, not just barking, growling dreams. If they do remember , are they're able to differentiate the dream and waking state as such?
@computerbomb
@computerbomb 3 жыл бұрын
Lol, you do understand the dog doesnt magically know/understand the word a button says right? How would you teach an abstract concept like 'dream'....i'm actually curious what makes you think animals wouldnt be able to differentiate between dream and waking state tho..like animals dont have a memory? Dreaming about someone that passed for example, they would just be convinced theyre alive again? That doesnt make sense..

@@computerbomb Why must you be so condescending? I've had pets that were more intelligent than many humans...If Bunny displays the ability to recognize her own reflection ,then she has become self aware. LoL. She has grasped the word "settle". It's not so far fetched.... It just frustrates me to no end that you think you have a right to judge my question...This is about a dog learning to communicate with humans,through our sentence structures. Now if barking buttons were available we would all be trying that...So my question isn't as ridiculous as you are making it out to be... Woof, woof...
@computerbomb
@computerbomb 3 жыл бұрын
@@venturasunflower1014 You're right, I'm sorry. It was unnecassary to be condescending and rude about your question. I too think it would be so interesting to be able to converse about dreaming with an animal. But because dreaming is a purely subjective abstract construct, i don't think it's possible to teach it. Not because she would be too dumb to grasp the concept, but because you can't condition it like "settle". When she or yourself is relaxing, you can tell her "settle". But when she or yourself is dreaming you can't tell her "dream". I think humans also can only grasp the concept via a verbal explanation. With my second statement I intended to clarify why i think it's selfexplanatory animals can differentiate between dreams and real life because otherwise they would show incoherent behaviours. Like looking for someone they know has passed, or fleeing a homeplace because they've dreamt about a scary invader that wasn't actually there.
