Thanks, Tim! Great band to play with. I think the guys here all did maybe 2 dates each with Guthrie while he was over. Very much a start a groove and go with it sort of gig, which is always fun. It would be great to meet you too. I'd love to be in a position to book some dates in America, just to say I'd played there. It's the home of so much of the music I enjoy. Maybe one day.

Happy New Year! I thought I'd start off 2024 by posting some actual music. The eagle eared among you will spot one of the solos from a previous post, but this is a collection of other stuff that occurred on this gig. Guthrie has long since gone back to Texas and will be playing with his regular band. If you're interested you can find other clips from the rest of his 2023 UK tour, in various places on the internet and with various other guitarists. Thanks, Graeme! Happy new year to you too, hope you had a good Christmas. I really enjoyed this gig, but through some unfortunate mis-communication I only ended up doing the one with this band. I'm really pleased you said about original instrumentals, because it's in the works! I have two or three tunes down. The thing I'm struggling with is creating a sonic theme. The ones I have so far really don't belong on an album together, so I'll probably just end up uploading random tunes to KZbin. I'm also going to be doing some blues covers, just as full songs and uploading a performance of those. Definitely some more music on the channel through this year.
