Why do children continuously make a humming sound or talk to themselves? How to stop or divert the child from doing this?

If you see your child doing the same.. immediately ask them to keep finger on their lips and explain them politely that we should make sounds like this... Everytime you see such an inappropriate behaviour. My son is also detected with ADHD & ASD.. I will keep on saying this whenever he makes inappropriate sounds or humming... It is time taking but it works

I think Ma'am ye uska behavior coz study m uska interest km h so aap use develop krne k liye positive reinforcement use kr skte hain like outing, her fav toy, praised points etc thn child ka gradually interest develop hone lgega ....

Mam my son is 4 adhd with speech delay, do all the activities with intrest do studies also (homework) But still sitting tolerance is v. Poor in classroom. Please suggest how to improve ideal sitting

I think child's social skills are weak. so u should work on it . First u need to work on ur child social interaction inside the house n ur neighbourhood like u can play a group game at home with your child, or you can do a few more children with him at homework time to give him the school environment n then you can help your child to integrate in to the outside environment ..By doing this the child 's social skills will gradually improve and he will give good performance at school.
