Sittingbourne A Town to be Proud of Video

A town to be proud of! You have got to be joking! Forget those green fields, most of them will be built on very shortly with more houses we don't want. Schools over subscribed already even without more housing (therefore families) adding to the issue. Rubbish roads, almost gridlock at certain times of day or when the M2 has a problem between Sittingbourne and Faversham. Don't even mention potholes or the general state of repair of the roads either. Oh and the badly thought out Spirit of Sittingbourne (I wish I was joking but I'm not) where shortly after opening the road layout a lorry and a bus got stuck trying to negotiate it! A multi storey car park which had its lift vandalised before it had even opened (glad I don't have to use it) and it's an eye sore, but then again most are. 3,300 people per GP, so good luck seeing a doctor! Also Swale desperately requires its own proper hospital to stop relying on the under pressure Medway hospital (put it just off the A249 before the Isle of Sheppey, wouldn't be a bad spot). About 50 years ago Sittingbourne used to have a population of around 25,000 people, apparently it's now around 50,000+ and the infrastructure (I use the word loosely) hasn't been upgraded or added to in any meaningful or helpful way. Sittingbourne used to be OK (just) but all I've seen is it getting worse over the years, just speak to any resident who has lived here for a while and you'll get the same story.

I've got a really bad tooth and cannot get it sorted!! I'm going to London for a few days for work I'm going to try and get my tooth done privately in London because swale doesn't care that my head is about to explode

Only when I left 30 years ago did I realise it was so bad and I moved to Brixton lol! Full of inward looking chippy people, no decent shops or restaurants. There's a reason the house prices are so cheap lol!
