True, i said i wasnt ready but said "who knows, i need time to think about it" but took that as a sign to go back to his crush and even told me all about his advances. This hurt me so i just stopped. Im hurting but i hope he knew he lost someone who was willing to risk it

I have been in that situationship lol. Years back sinusubukan nya ko kausapin pero dko ineentertain at may gf sya LOL tas years ago bigla kami nagkausap then yea wala na sla. So lumalabas nagsstay together suddenly he told me that he need to focus in his church (INC sya 🙂). Then now he’s engaged sa babaeng nakkita ko sa apartment nla which is side kick ng isang kaapartment nya 🤣 well, anyway thank you sa kanya for making me realize na I shouldn’t not settle for that situationship dhil nasa tamang tao nako ngayun ♥️

Legit. Situationship is just being with someone to fill the void while waiting for the "right" one to arrive. It's like testing the water. We should always look for progress, what's the point of dating someone if one don't want progress? It's just an excuse for the playboys/girls. Those things are for the streets.

i was in a 7 year on/off situationship before. i was scared of being assertive about defining our relationship because i felt like i already know what's going to happen and that's it's going to end and i didnt want it to end. it was my safety net. it was somehow my source of comfort until i realized it shouldn't be. at one point you gotta sit yourself down and ask lotsa whats and whys. im happy i got help and worked (and still working) on parts of me that needed healing, including my inner child 😊

I always hated MU MU. kaya when me and my now husband was flirting a lot with no clarity for a few weeks. I was like "So, why are we doing this? Ano intention mo? Actually need talaga linawin yung intentions ng isat isa para walang lugi sa huli. Sometimes kasi nahihiya lang magtanong ang guy lalo na kung malakas ang personality ni girl. Pero once managing malinaw na yung intentions, you can go from there na. Been there. If you want na makawala sa ganung phase, need mo itanong at isettle ang mga bagay bagay. At the end of the day, protect yourself and save your precious time. Good thing we have the same intentions and we're now together.

I think its more of just a fling. Both of you are not looking for a relationship because you think its too serious. If situationship, when you break up it isn’t as heavy as when you’re in a relationship. But on the other side, if you guys are still in a situationship after a long time then its a good precursor to starting a real relationship. I think it really fills in the gap between courting/being friends and being in a relationship. Since for some people they go into a relationship too fast or too early and it all just blows when it ends.

In my own perspective, situationship is something similar to what people nowadays call "talking stage" but something deeper. In situationship, you both are committed to each other and contented to what you both have right now, but there's no label.

Well, I'm in some kind of 'situationship' right now. And it really is going well for us. We're both on the same page, we don't have the thought na we must be/we must have a label. We're both working and focusing on ourselves while dealing with each other. We do like each other but we're both not yet ready for the 'commitment' (na what they say label nga). We just go with the flow. We like, we want each other, but we're not expecting for us to be in a relationship.

Im in a same-sex situationship. A lot of what was said in the podcast is mostly nga dahil hindi alam ng Skyfam what its like to be in one. They dont know periodt. For same sex situationships, its difficult mag forward plan due to societal pressures at walang kasal dito. Our situationship is enjoying the now, going beyond casual dating but not forwrd looking enough to build a future thats cant be recognized legally. If we want to bring in another person sexually its fine, as long as we dont do it individually behind our backs, may mutual consent. What the Skyfam says is based off from conventional hetero normative relationships, when these days its more fluid.

it's not even tackling on marriage, but just putting a label on the relationship, periodt, hetero or same sex pa. if i understood the definition of situationship correctly, parang jowaan na ang treatment niyo, and there is also sex involved, pero walang official na "tayo na", . and Slater is correct, maybe at a certain age this will work for you, but when you get much older, regardless if you are straight or not, you will naturally just look for and settle with one partner.
