Judging by the fact that Egypt blocked the straits of Tiran, expelled UN peacekeepers, aligned with the other Arab nations, and moved its troops to Israel's borders and have other Arab nations do the same, I think its pretty clear that the first of the two scenarios is more likely.

In fairness, Jordan and Egypt have both since signed Peace and trade agreements with Israel, while Egypt actually encouraged Jordan to recognize Israel fairly recently. That particular conflict, especially with Syria in chaos, and Israel controlling a strong natural defense in the Golan Heights, is -pretty much over.

To be fair, if the Egyptians were fighting to preserve peace, happiness and freedom, they would have fared much better. Men at arms are exponentially more effective the more noble their motivations. REAL Egyptians are strong people too and deserve their freedom from the Empire of Islam. I wish Egypt, Numidia, Persia, Parthia, Palmyra, Mauritania, Assyria et al were all still distinct cultures with their own histories and customs and had never been consumed by Arabia and Islam. Especially Numidia, their native women were so incredibly beautiful (and still are somewhat, despite extensive genetic Arabization).

Dear 2 standards "asdf jkl" ; Muslim's GREAT problem is what they call "GREAT" = JIHAD. For example: You preach that an Ottoman Killaphate would be More "Peaceful", but... At the same time you preach about muslims "Protecting and Fighting" for a "Peaceful Killaphate" reached by VIOLENCE and Kept by MORE VIOLENCE = 14 Centuries of Endless JIHAD under Arabian Sharia Law... A religion of Eternal Civil WAR, more Political than religious, and more MILITARY than peaceful... OH! Then Muslims expect Civilization to Forcely Accept "SUBMISSION" to their Arabian Political Military SYSTEM that "fights" against their own neighbor, the Islamic State, because every muslim wants to be the Next Worldwide King... COVETRY AND DECEPTION DETECTED! ISLAM IS IN IN ENDLESS WAR AGAINST ISLAM, MUSLIM AGAINST MUSLIM, BASED ON THE SAME BOOK AND INTERPRETATION, since early days of mohammad. It didnt brought Peace then, it would not bring Peace NOW, nor later. NO THANKS, CIVILIZATION REJECTS AND SHALL NEUTRALIZE A DANGEROUS MILITHIA THAT IS CAMOUFLAGED AS RELIGION. wgt

Dear pro JIHAD "asdf jkl" ; It doesnt matter how peacefuly you paint "All Forms of JIHAD", muslims knows well its VIOLENT meaning, and history verify its 14 Centuries of Military Brutality; Countries occupied by JIHAD persecutes other beliefs by obeying their idolized prophet, and punishing ExMuslims by observing BRUTAL Sharia Law; In Arabia, Shia muslims are told not to practice their islamic belief publicly; and their Shiite prophets are killed! It doesnt matter how beautiful your ancestors talk about JIHAD, reality cannot be hidden. * While The Teachings of JESUS is leading Muslims into a Happier Life, obviously secretly... Even if you deny that SHARIA LAW PENALIZE EXMUSLIMS BY DEATH... wgt

3:50 Gaza isn't under direct Israeli occupation since 2005 when Israeli forces and civilians withdrew and gave the strip to the PLO which lost it to Hamas. Israel and Egypt continue a joint blockade of the strip to prevent the smuggle of weapons and ammunition to the strip and therefore also keep control over its air space.

With the only exception of Christians adding on their "New Testament" and the Muslims with their "Quran". Ironically Muslims follow the practices of the Jews more closely then Christians do (like keeping Kosher)

Remy white Acually, ther are more Saphardi Jews then Ashkenazi Jews in Israel, most of which are from Morroco, Iraq, Iran and other Muslim countries. You know, simply because most of the Ashkenazi Jews were slaughtered and today 60% of the Ashkenazi community is in the USA. For the record I am 3/4 Saphardi, of which half are from Muslim countries, of which one side was forcibly kicked and another left because of Muslim discrimination. Only one side of my family accually wanted to go to Israel. Khazarian DNA makes up 0-14% of Ashkenazi DNA. Most of the Ashkenazi Jews are from Spain. Poland was the only Christian State that allowed Jews to settle after the Spannish Diaspora and this explanes why there were 3 million Jews in Poland in 1938.

Your final statement "the Golan Heights, West Bank and Gaza Strip remain under Israeli occupation, so the Arab nations refuse to recognise Israel" is incorrect. The Arab nations refuse to recognise Israel, period. From the moment the state of Israel was declared in 1948, the Arabs were at war with it, in one form or another. This idea of "we just want them to return to the pre-1967 borders" is nonsense. That's just the first logical step towards their real goal, which is (and always has been) to drive the Israelis into the sea.

You are right Jabzy Although Gaza isn't occupied anymore. It has a pretty tough import blockade to search for weapons, but there aren't any occupying soldiers in that beehive anymore. Jazby - you miss the point Pat Riot made. You can't come and say Israel captured these areas "so" they refused to recognize Israel - the refusal to recognize was even before the capture, it wasn't a result of it. The consequent peace deal made shows that by giving the Sinai it was possible to bargain for recognition (such deal only working because the Egyptians regained honor of getting their territory back).

Alfred Abraham That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. You can't change people's nationality arbitrarily just because you "like" them. In 1970 the Palestinians attempted to revolt and King Hussein sent the Arab Legion to quell the uprising in the Palestinian refugee camps, they slaughtered thousands of unarmed innocent civilians.How can you say the "liked" them??

Christopher The suez canal is a man made canal in Egypt. It is owned by Egypt and Egypt can do whatever it wants with it. It is not an international waterway. By this same logic, an embargo or sanctions are acts of war. No, I'm not muslim, no I'm not an anti semite. Right is right and wrong is wrong- as a sovereign nation Egypt is within its rights to restrict access to its man made canals whenever it wants. As per international law... The straights of gibralter were still open to Israel btw.

Instead they invade their neighbor and occupied the canal.

The second war, Isreal attacked a jordanian held village but failed. USSR informed the arabs that isreal was massing its troops, in response the arabs prede for a ground war. And then egypt blockaded the strait ot tiran, which is really tiny, and would be the same as egypt someones ships go through thier canal. And because of this Isreal send its entire airforce to destroy the arab airforces on ground which was succesful. and took over a bit of land. You seem incredibly confused. Usually when people give an alternative account of a war I've covered I know what theories they're talking about. But with you I have no idea. I can't even think where you got your information from, so please, send a link. It doesn't even have to come from a proper history book, just send a link to the blog you read or video you saw. Anyway, the Sinai belonged to Egypt so why would they take it? Maybe you're thinking about the Yom Kippur war? Jordan governed East Jerusalem before the war, but they didn't advance during the war. In fact they only tried to defend their position, i.e. the battle of Ammunition hill. As for US and British involvement, the Arab leaders put out a broadcast saying they were fighting, But there is an audio release of them planning the announcement and even Hussein later said they were not involved. And, even if they were involved, they only ever claimed that they used planes. So that means there were no troops to take Jerusalem and there was no threat of a nuclear attack. And even they didn't claim the French were threatened them, so,again, God knows where you got that from. So, to summarize the war as you see it. Israel attacked, Egypt then captured the Sinai Peninsular from itself and moved into Tel Aviv. The Jordaninans captured West Jerusalem etc. Then the Western nations threatened a nuclear attack, this somehow allowed the Israelis to push the Arabs back? Then of course the Americans took Jerusalem from Jordan who had held it 'for a long time.' How much do you think can happen in 6 Days?

***** In dealing with the problem of evil in the world, we run into many problems like this one. Could God have prevented the Holocaust? Yes, He could have. He could also have prevented Stalin’s massacres in the U.S.S.R., the Spanish Inquisition’s torture of dissidents, and Nero’s reign of terror. In each case, God allowed evil men to exercise a certain amount of power for a short period of time. Ultimately, we do not know the reasons for what God allows. His ways and thoughts are infinitely higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). His sovereign plan takes in the whole scope of history, past, present, and future, encompassing every possible course of action, every cause and effect, every potentiality, and every contingency. There is no way we could possibly fathom the intricacies of His design. By faith, we trust that His plan is the best plan possible for restoring fallen humanity and a cursed world to righteousness and blessing. But we can understand this: God’s permission is not the same as His approval. God allowed Adam to eat of the forbidden tree, but He did not approve of the action. In the same way, God’s allowing the Holocaust in no way suggests His approval of it. God is grieved by the sinfulness of man and the hardness of his heart (Genesis 6:6; Mark 3:5). We also know that God has done everything possible to redeem us from the sin which would destroy us. He gave His only Son, who sacrificed His life for our sin and took our penalty. All who turn to Jesus Christ in faith are saved. The sin in this world, and horrors such as the Holocaust, are a direct result of mankind’s continued rebellion against God. While nothing can justify the Holocaust, we do see at least one good thing which came from World War II: Israel now exists as a nation. The Holocaust was a primary reason the White Paper of 1939 was rescinded, freeing Jews to immigrate to Palestine. The fact that, as of 1948, the Jews have a restored national identity helps to fulfill such biblical prophecies as Ezekiel 37 and Matthew 24. Defeating Nazism and giving the land of Israel back to the Jews is a classic example of God’s thwarting Satan’s plan and bringing about good in spite of the evil. In all of His doings, God is just (Psalm 145:17). The blame for the Holocaust lies squarely on the shoulders of sinful humanity. The Holocaust was the product of sinful choices made by sinful men in rebellion against a holy God. If the Holocaust proves anything, it is the utter depravity of man. Just fourteen years after "the war to end all wars" (World War I), Hitler rose to power. What is even more shocking is that millions followed him, enabling his horrific policies and pursuing a path to national destruction. And while Nazism took hold in Germany, where were the European churches? Some, it is true, stood fast against the evil in their midst, and some churchmen, such as Dietrich Bonhoeffer, paid the ultimate price for dissenting. But they were the minority. Most churches of the era acquiesced to Nazi Party rules and remained silent while the Jews were slaughtered. Where were the world leaders? Other than England’s Winston Churchill, the world’s politicos took the route of isolation or appeasement. Neither worked. Where were the good, decent people? Edmund Burke is often quoted as saying, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph in the world is for enough good men to do nothing." Although there were a few Germans and other Europeans such as Oscar Schindler and Corrie ten Boom and her family, who risked their lives to save thousands of Jews from annihilation, most remained silent and the Holocaust ensued. The question is not so much "Why did God allow the Holocaust?" but "Why did we?" God gives mankind freedom of choice. We can choose to follow Him and take a stand for righteousness, or we can rebel against Him and pursue evil. The problem resides in the heart of man. "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 17:9). Until man’s heart turns to God, the world will continue to witness "ethnic cleansings," genocides, and atrocities such as the Holocaust.

Personally, I don't think Israel should have given up the Sinai. First off, it gave them oil rigs, which would've made Israel richer, considering its lack of natural resources to export anyways. And secondly, since the Sinai basically doubles Israel in size, citizens would feel more confident and less cramped, as they wouldn't be "stuck" in such a small area that Israel is. I guess peace is what Israel wanted though, so be it.

Israel could not have made peace with Egypt without giving back the Sinai. Also the Sinai is uninhabitable, it would just act as a buffer, but the peace agreement saw the Sinai demilitarized so it acts as a buffer anyways.

Good video. I wish I could say I'm surprised that even this extremely (almost placatingly) unbiased video is garnering controversy already only a few hours after being posted. One thing you did miss, however, is that Jordan and Israel have also had a peace treaty since 1994, and their relations are mostly quite amicable with Jordan recognising Israel as a legitimate state. Of the three main nations that fought Israel in the 6 Day War only Syria (which despite the civil war is still nominally ruled by the Assad regime) is not at peace with Israel.

Sure we recognize you, more than that, were have historically went out of our way to find some settlement in which the two states can coexist in peace. But that never happens because each time we are close to some sort of a resolution to our tensions, arabs reject all peace efforts and resume their agenda of bitter hostility. Put that shit behind you , come make SOME sort of settelement , ANY reasonable settlement, and just MOVE ON with your life. Israel could be your closest friend if you were able to do that. Find a way to throw away these damned historical grievances and MAKE A BETTER LIFE FOR YOURSELF. And Israel will surely help you.

Palestine isnt recognised by Israel, so no you don't. Not even after the peace deal that was supposed to settle it all: Oslo accords. palestine recognises Israel, Israel doesnt recognise Palestine. Funny that you use the word Settlement, the one thing that Israel uses to remove Palestine step by step.
@nightknight669
@nightknight669 6 жыл бұрын
You just stating Israel doesnt recognize Palestine without anything to back that claim up with. Ive given specific reasoning when I said Israel does recognize Palestine for what it is, and among the different things that characterize it , unfortunately , is also the unwillingness to figure out a reasonable settlement to end conflict. Id say you should be thankful Israel hasnt annexed all that 'occupied' territory right after we won it over in the wars, Israel has kept it 'occupied' because of the political potential for PEACE with you people..
@MisFellatio
@MisFellatio 6 жыл бұрын
Night Knight You haven't. You just said "they do recognize palestine". And it's an obvious lie. Since the 70s it has been a continuous strategy to undermine the territorial integrity of Palestine by building civilian structures within Palestine. This is the opposite of recognizing a state. "You should be happy we" ah now we see your true colours. Palestinians don't have the right to a state according to you. It is granted by you when they bow their head to your will. You have absolutely nothhing to say about the Palestinian territories. And should be glad the US is still protecting you from international sanctions, for ignoring resolution 242 for decades.

What no one really talks about is that before WWII, Arabs, Jews, and Christians all lived in that area in relative peace. Each acknowledging Jerusalem as a holy city and sharing it. It wasn't until the UK came in and carved up the area into Jewish and Arab territories that all these skirmishes began to happen. The UK initially said they would help prevent these battles, however once they got what they wanted they left the area leaving the population to fend for itself. It's rather convenient for the UK that no one bothers to talk about that since everyone is so focused on whether the Jews or Arabs own the land.
@DoomFinger511
@DoomFinger511 5 жыл бұрын
@LookingIntoTheAbyss All of that happened AFTER WWII and the UK dividing up Jerusalem. It would be on topic if you pointed out some Arab vs Jewish event that happened BEFORE that time period. Describing these (post WWII) events further proves the chaos created by Britain's meddling for selfish gain.

no, egypt was at war in Yemen (north yemen civil war 1962-1968) against saudi arabia, nasser could not win the war so the six day war was a good escape for nasser, because then nasser could be friends again with saudi arabia and get support from them for the war against israel and clear his name because of the failed war in Yemen. Wars against israel are for the most part because of domestic political problems in arab countries.
