I don’t think Barnes is very talented. It was like revolution for death metal when Barnes left CC. Death metal got sophisticated, but I think that whole movement of good production and super technical playing got real shitty and death metal kind of sucks now. I don’t listen much death metal and if I do it’s old school.

Trust me knowing Chris, he lowered expectations on purpose, he has been mad and said how he does everything on purpose, I think it was the one last album where he did his high EEEEs (whats left of them) just for fun, he defiantly knows he doesnt sound nearly as scary or brutal, but he knows hes having fun and just going with whatever, Next Six Feet Under album will be insane I garentee it.

Let it be known that Chris Barnes was the first singer to cannibal corpse..he invented death metal..and moved on into doing other things..all the now a days ppl will never understand.
