This feels like a Ninja replacement. Then, if Superman is gone as well, that leaves the whole top of the summit to be closed for a complete remodel. Everything is a wreck up there.

It's not going to be an inverted motorbike coaster. They announced it as "first in North America", which rules out new coaster models. Otherwise they would have announced it as "World's first" or something similar.

The plans confirm it’s a Thrill Glider coaster, which in other words is an inverted motorbike coaster.

It will be a more chaotic version of the Tron ride experience, with quicker transitions from side to side as the train swings. It appears to be the same restraint system as the motocoaster, simply adapted to a suspended chasis.

You want a Giga not in this spot of the park. Besides Gigas are a bit overrated for their price quality.I know you americanes only think bigger is better but plenty of really good coasters around that aren't giga's. To be honest of the 9 giga's and strata's that have been build (i just count the variants of TT only once) only 2 or in my top 10 and there are 2 i haven't ridden yet. Having said that not sure how it works with earthquackes but other then that yeah california should have a Giga.

I can i think for a terain folowing coaster this is the most intense experience without creating the fear factor of a Flying or classicale invert. Wich makes me think this is only gonna be a mid tier thrill ride or even lower.

I have hope for Magic Mountain. The Southern California market is just far too competitive for them to just ruin that park like they did Great Adventure. I think the fast and the Furious coaster will be a major deal and it will force Magic Mountain to match up.

Im not surprised, I mean the teasers with the steampunk birds now kinda makes sense. As for the next S&S Axis (not the one going to the Middle East) will probably be at Kings Dominion to replace Anaconda (well, that’s MY hope).

Universal Orlando also has a record for the worlds most expensive roller coaster (the one your talking about). Six flags does no thave that kind of capital, no matter how many competitors it merges with.

Plenty of other coasters around that are as good as Giga's. I would go with a mack extreme spinner myself. Except for I305 the only other giga in my top 10 is Fury and that one is at spot 8 and there are couple of coasters i haven't done yet wich i expect to be better so probable only 1 will be in my top 10 and that one is to forcefull to be areal crowd plesure.

It's business, that's all it is. You would have been gone long ago if SFOT was your home park. They started first but are the slowest to develop. You are very lucky to have a top five rides at SFMM. They are extreme enough. At SFOT the top five rides are just big enough but only batman and Titan are extreme and I had enough of Batman. Iron Rattler is better than all of SFOT but we still have lots of air-time floating moments enough. Perhaps in the year 2059 they'll have a 1600 feet high drop and air-time the most. How long will it take to build a Kingda Ka six times in a row back-to-back, up and down, to the max? I say year 2059 because metal will become inexpensive then and they'll be so much metal like 1000x more than the world trade center so that it will be safe and not all flimsy swaying in the wind from being so high up. It will be built behind Katy's Kettle, the gate doors on the right. I suspect that they'll have to move the mountain back there like they did in 1980 so that we don't have to walk up another steep incline. You can see back there from the top of X2. That mountain used to directly connect to the Sky Tower, dirt filled in way up there before they trenched out the trial next to roaring rapids below Tatsui. It's going to take time but it will happen for sure. The Free Fall Calculator says for 1650 feet you get 10 seconds of air-time straight down so maybe we'll make it 1750 feet high by year 2059 and get that extra big air-time at last.

They always trying to be "different" or unique as if others don't have this. Maybe they should improve the last big time ride to make it bigger, faster and better air-time moments stretched out to the max using real live physics experts. Full Throttle would be improved if it went 88 miles per hour so as to almost stick to the seat. A motorcycle ride inverted would have to be 70 mph and larger corkscrews to spread out more for higher speeds. That would probably be the only thing to make this Ninja upgrade other than going a little faster. The switchback on Tatsui will probably overrule. I can hold a cup of water with no lid on Ninja without spilling a drop. Ultimately, any new ride to ease up the crowds and lower the length of all the lines will do. I still think they should replace Goliath coasters with spinner coasters and even change the second half into air time drops. We know through experience what it's like now to almost pass out because it spun in a circle two and half times. Although they now built six coasters in world record time the extreme one is Crazanity because of it's generous air-time. Before I bailed out of state I did West Coast Racers 5 times 2 days with no one in line. I'd rather go to Apocalyse 10 times for every one at WCR. They should be playing LA Rush West Coast Racers music and they don't but it matches. And out front of Metropolis they should be playing Unreal Gold Soundtrack or some of them. It matches but we don't get it. And at the Sky Tower they should be playing some Zen meditation music.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a dive coaster similar to hang time at knotts berry farm and have it places where the tidal wave used to be at and use the tidal wave station but add a couple tweaks to it, and they can call it the joker since we have riddlers revenge and Batman etc. and I’d like to see a new water ride at magic mountain as well too, it can have the same layout as tidal wave or similar to tidal wave, and they could also benefit from more bathrooms on the park as well and a relaxation area with a small pond for the ducks. Just my opinion.

Keep in mind that this is across from Bugs Bunny World. A family coaster makes much more sense in this area than a top-5 headliner. Six Flags will NOT give this park the budget to compete with Hollywood Drift, and this sets the stage for Ninja to close soon. Hopefully the Superman and Ninja sites will be combined for a major thrill coaster in the coming years.

Looks like a real nice concept for a terrain coaster. A motorbike seating without tracks below you must give you a way better more intense ride experience. I'm dutch andprobable biased in favor to Vekoma because of that. But did anyone expect that vekoma would be one of the leading innovative coaster manufactorers ? I know its not all new tech but with there tilt coasters and this one, FLY. They really are there, also if ypou look on how they improved there standard models with the STC and wildcat/bermuda blitz models and even creating decent but not exceptionaly good launch coasters. Haven't done any of their controled spinners not sure if any are build yet. Now they aren't only building Quantity but also Quality.

Hmm could be a flying coaster but FLY is something pretty differnt then the model they are talking about here. I have to say experience wise that might be the 2 closest so i can see why you are thinking that. Now maybe its not this model but actualy there flying model like FLY. A terrain following Flying coaster would be well lets put it this way i would vote for that.

Girlies we knew it wasn’t going to be a giga. I mean they said it was going to be a first of its kind in North America. This is going to be so cool! I mean you are going to be swooping and diving up and down the hillside. Magic Mountain really only has three major family-thrill coasters, and the newest is from 1988. So just hold your judgement and realize that the last three coasters have all been thrill coasters.

Superman is going to be taken out. It’s costing SFMM way too much money to maintain, plus some have seen the large LSM’s from Superman over by scream and twisted. My opinion is SFMM should get king da Ka change the launch to a much more updated system and call it Superman plus they could then have 3 drop off doom cars I. The middle of the top hat!!!
