@@CanobieCoaster when I went in 2019 it was busy the first Saturday I was there but I think it’s because west coast racers had just opened for season pass holders after 12/21 it was dead and I did whatever I wanted.

Do you remember watching "The 50 Year History of Magic Mountain" by Airtime Thrills Chris, where in his third episode(1990s), where Newhall Land and Six Flags talked about turning Magic Mountain (because of it's immense popularity) into an ACTUAL destination resort, featuring several on site hotels and retail/dinning/entertainment complex? Still mad asf that they didn't pull the trigger on the project.

@@seanlewis1148 Yes I remember. In theory they could still build a hotel nearby but with a lot more businessess abd existing hotels nearby, I wouldn't count on it happening anytime soon but who knows.

Isn't that why the sign next to the park says Six Flags California since they tried marketing it as more than just Magic Mountain?

@@CanobieCoaster EXACTLY!!! They were gonna go that route right after Hurricane Harbor opened in 1995, THAT was their next step. Too bad it didn't come to fruition 🤷‍♂️
