Jude was so beautiful. I honestly don't know how you go through all of that training, getting to him, him getting to know you and trust you and then hand him off to someone else. Kudos to you sweetheart. Hoping he gets nothing but a lot of love at his new home.

Camille, your video of you and Jude just warmed my heart. I love how you took a wild Mustang, and made him understand trust, safety and companionship. You did a marvelous job. I hope one day that I will be able to give these mustangs the same opportunity that you were giving them. Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic video. Huge fan!

i am am so happy I found your KZbin account. I have been binge watching all night at work. I have been saying for a while that I want to "gentle" my own horse and watching your videos is so educational. I also am a college student trying to decide whether I can afford to adopt a horse and pay boarding fees, we will see.

Also wondering how much do people usually sell their mustangs for after training? Is it based off of how much you paid to adopt them? Or based on how hard it was to gentle and train them?
@beachbumetta5 жыл бұрын
I think they are auctioned and pretty much go for whatever someone is willing to pay. Some go for a lot more than others and I think up to a certain amount goes to the mustang rescue and anything over that is split with them and the trainer? I saw a video once that explained how it worked but I don’t recall exactly.

@alejandroblanco21545 жыл бұрын
wait so you never keep the horses? like just train them to sell or else ?
@julierussell88764 жыл бұрын
she gentles them in a natural way, trains them for domestic life and then they go to a full time home so that Camille can then do the same for another instead of them either being badly "broken in" and traumatize them possibly going from home to home till they end up on the meat wagon. Her methods are kind, and based on natural horsemanship and the behaviours and body language (Equus) so they have the best start in life. She isn't doing this to make money. She re-homes them, they are adopted not sold.

Not a dumb question. I've been around horses most of my life, like 40+ yrs, and I'd never seen one turn so many colors. Guess it depends some on the type of horses you're around. I know very little about Mustangs.

I mean sure, I guess, for your own, "piece of mind" or "ego" or what ever it is that you think you to have in your own right to make this horse "OBEY YOU" LIE IT DOES, ITS REMARKABLE. BUT IF I WERE IN THIS "HORSES SHOES" I'D BE ASKING YOU "WHY" WHY DO YOU THINK YOU HAVE TO HAVE "SUCH CONTROL OVER A HORSE"? IS IT TO SHOW HOW MUCH SKILL YOU HAVE IN TRAINING A HORSE? WHAT "YOU" CAN "MAKE" A HORSE "DO" BECAUSE HONESTLY EVERYTHING YOU'RE MAKING THIS HORSE DO, IS FOR SHOW! NOT LIKE A POLICE OFFICER WOULD TRAIN A DOG! THOSE DOGS, "LIVE TO WORK" THEY LOVE IT! I ONLY SEE YOUR HORSES REACT BECAUSE THEY "HAVE TO" WHATS UP WITH THAT?
