People who compare new casts to the original casts always make me annoyed, NO this is NOT THE SAME, that does not give you a free pass to diss them, compare and enjoy their different nuances that they bring to the character, but just don’t try to bring them down to lift up the other cast. This is pretty much a very nasty issue with the whole theatre community overall, appreciate the different interpretations from different actors because that’s what makes theatre special

Yes! This! I saw a Q&A with this cast and the women were picked for their roles for a reason. The creative team is more looking for a portrayal of the stories, not for the ladies to be the queens exactly. They want their personalities to show and add to the story telling!

What I love about each of these Broadway queens: Aragon: Everything Boleyn: Everything Seymour: Everything Cleves: Everything Howard: Everything Parr: Everything But seriously, Howard is so CUTE and Parr's voice gives me chills and Cleves is so powerful and Aragon is so good at engaging the audience and Boleyn pours so much energy into the role and Seymour just keeps going after "rude!" All of you that “feel like they need accents” NO THEY DO NOT! They sound perfect in their own way. You need to shut up and listen for a second because the CREATORS (Toby and Lucy) BOTH SAID ACCENTS DON’T MATTER! So like stop! This cast is amazing in their own was.
