Leaving a camera in the same place for months creates a learning opportunity about wildlife behavior that simply can't be matched.
I learned there was an abundance of mule deer, elk and moose in the area. I had a few clips of mountain lions and bobcats, making it more interesting.
This footage was captured with the Browning Recon Force Elite HP5 camera and the Browning Recon force Elite HP4 camera. I was using the Hixon AA Rechargeable Lithium batteries, which lasted more than six months. Very impressive!
Always interesting and compelling to watch completely wild behavior of wildlife.

Thanks Bryce. One of the interesting aspects of this long, east/west ridge is the amount of moose activity. There isn't much water, few, if any willows and yet there is moose sign everywhere.

That last scene with the frost on everything and the bobcat walking through was pretty cool! 😎❄️

I know few camera trap people that pay attention to the details like you do. Thank you for your comments.

This was a unique spot, on the north side of a saddle where there was some protection from the strong west winds in the winter time. It also had great forage for deer, elk and moose. And great cover for the small prey that bobcats, coyotes and fox are interested in.

I actually saw two moose when I was hiking to my cameras. It's steep ground and quite a distance to hike in there. The best place to see moose is the Laramie River Valley and Long Draw Road. In July, my favorite place is Trap Park Creek in the Neota Wilderness.
