Key learning from the video:- 1. Audacity- to make the move, willingness to take bold risk. 2. Repetition -of presentation. 3.Discipline-Follow up until they say yes. 4.Intuition- Qualify your lead, define your target customer. 5.Confidence -to close. 6.Character-Keeping your word.

I don’t agree with 2&3. People don’t want to be hounded over and over about the same thing. That gets you the “used car salesman” label.

Not if you keep showing up with a good reason like infusing just a weeee bit more air into the tire .. think how a bicycle pump works, each successive pump delivering a lil mo more value, AND WHO DON'T 💕 LOVE MO? Everybody love mo!!!

I once had a customer who told me to call him every other week at a certain time... I did for a year and then he gave me the first order of $15k. He ended up buying about a quarter million a year from me, said I was the first sales person who had stuck it out more than 6 months... Great customer and extremely easy to deal with - other than calling for a year - for the next 10 or so years while I was in the paper industry.

Hi Patrick. Hope you had a great Christmas. As usual, I love your mentorship videos that you post on KZbin. They are so valuable that they are priceless. You have great pointers in this video but actually fall short in a couple of areas. If people follow your guidance here, people will make some sales but will struggle needlessly. By adding additional relevant information and knowledge, then people can easily increase their sales volume by at least double digit percentage. And if people attain and practice the knowledge, then it is likely that people will increase their sales by triple digit or 100+% working the same number of hours per week. For example: those that are making $50,000 a year can increase their sales volume to anywhere from over $50,000 to well above $100,000. I know because I have learned and practice the skills which has placed me on top of the leader board in customer service, repeat customers, and customers coming back to ask for me specifically. This even applies to some of the staff that want me specifically in order to deal with certain issues. All the very best.

Great info, Pat. Thank you. Agree with almost all of them, especially the confidence one. However, for the follow up part just to follow up and ask how's everything and don't ask for the sale, I have a different perspective on it. Let me explain. When you're at that level, operating at high quality and service, both you and he customer know why you're calling. Of course, you might genuinely be interested in him and his family and that's even better, by my takeaway on it, especially when he's not a customer yet, is to ABC (always be curious) in how you can help and provide information, value, and help. Calling for just calling and checking him is a great idea, but calling and not asking for the sale while providing with something valuable is even better in my opinion. Concluding, great tips again, timeless advices.

I began to find success in sales when the person my prospects saw got closer and closer to the person my friends did. Sales is easy and painless if you don’t *need* the business. That’s why getting started is so hard. Prospects can subconsciously smell the desperation on you even if you think you’re good at hiding it. Thanks for your insights Patrick!
