@@JordanNealRogerslet me be one to discourage you from false teaching like this. Atonement is part of baptism not Salvation, it is the Father that justifies and baptises with the Holy Spirit for faith, sealed with the down-payment of the Holy Spirit to witness with our spirit if we are children of God, or not if we walk in the flesh. The promise at baptism that we shall not sin, gives us the covenant promise of eternal life. God redeemed no one who are sinners, Jesus died to bring a covenant to allow repentance for forgiveness, to reform and regenerate sinners to serve God. Romans 5-8 is baptism, sanctification by the obedience of faith is explained in Romans 12-16. What Jesus actually did was restore access to eternal life for those who do not sin, as Romans 5:14 they were prevented by Adam, but those in Christ who walk after the Spirit not the flesh are saved by faith. I invite you to watch my Ytube video series 'Myths in so-called Christianity' for NT truth.

I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (March 15, Lent 3), this was our New Testament Lesson (or Epistle) of the Day. Now I prepare to go to my church tonight for a Lent service. This will be the last one at my church for the Season of Lent as next week, everything moves to my sister church (2 Lent services, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, then Festival Worship at my church).

My husband and I are so enjoying your sermons and learning a lot from you. We always say at the end, "oh I wish we could have heard his prayer." Could you include that at the end of your sermons?

Thank you so much for the kind word of encouragement. May the Lord Jesus bless you, friend! By the way, on the newer sermons, such as those in John and Exodus, I’ve included the prayers :)

I really enjoy this pastor. I just wish he would stop reading at a modern version Bibles. It's King James and King James only

Friend, just to make you aware: I do use the English Standard Version to refer to when I am preaching, but all of my study is in the Hebrew Old Testament and the Greek New Testament-the original languages and Text that was used by those who translated and and produced the King James Version.
