does she dance like a doll because her dad (allegedly) used her like one? does she stop dancing like a doll once she becomes more frisky and stops being somebody else's person? does she stop dancing like a doll because suddenly she doesn't care about what other people like her dad and Henry want her to do? EDIT: You guys liked the theory huh??? lmao to clear it up as much as I can: Anne Boleyn's dad was said to have pushed her (and her sister) into marrying or seducing King Henry for the fame and riches it would bring them, thus using his daughters as a child would use a doll when playing with them. Anne/Millie's dancing is very doll-like, at least at the beginning; as the song progresses, she stops acting like that and stops doing everything that Henry and her father wanted her to do. This is my best friend and my fav song to sing along to. I watched six for my bday and got my friend into the soundtrack. We always sing this version cause there’s so much attitude to it

This is the reason why Millie is my favorite Anne. Her chops may not be the highest, or the best, but her ad-libs mid-song is just bso Anne Boleyn.
