Six Trucks Damaged In Vaughan Arson

Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking witnesses after six dump trucks were damaged by fire, believed to be arson, in the City of Vaughan.
On Monday, July 1, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a fire at an industrial yard in the area of Highway 27 and Highway 407. When they arrived on scene, they located six dump trucks engulfed in flame.
Vaughan Fire and Rescue Services attended and extinguished the fire. No injuries were reported.
Surveillance video shows one suspect in the yard approach the vehicles, pour a flammable liquid around them, and igniting the fires.

Police are appealing to anyone with information or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to come forward. Investigators would also like to speak to with anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage in the area around the time of the incident.

Why do big businesses use such crappy outdoor cameras? They should be using 4K camera's a the minimum.

I've told so many businesses I go to a certain person who has amazing cameras he sells and installs. Not one of them listen to me and i'm sure if any of them were to be robbed or broken into. You'll only see a pixelated person running around.
