Hi, Leila! You are brilliant! Jolly good! Jolly well! This lesson is perfectly fine and truly beneficial. I love the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). It is an alphabetic system of phonetic notation based primarily on the Latin script, designed to represent those qualities of our speech that are part of lexical (and to a limited extent prosodic) sounds in oral language. IPA symbols are actually composed of one or more elements of two basic types, letters and diacritics. They are awesome.

" Yes we are looking crazy particularly me, but if this helps with your pronunciation, it's worth it" you're too kind Leila 💙 Using the diphthongs can be quite confusing sometimes esp when they are mixed with the schwa sound "The cat looks like he's cut his face with his long nails". Thanks for this lesson.

Amazing lesson, as usual. To me, the most difficult sounds are "g" like in good and egg or even eggs which is even more dificult...Isn't it exactly like in ex? "Your ex letf the eggs at the door" 😂. Another dificult sound is "y" like in years and yellow and "j" like in jaw and jar. Thank you very much for all of your videos and lessons!!! You're legends 🙏

Madam, Could you please tell me? If I ask general questions like these Can we say both ways or not 1)Where are you working in ? 2)Where do you work? 3)Where are you living in? 4)Where do you live in ?
@LoveEnglishUK4 жыл бұрын
You don’t need ‘in’ at the end if those sentences. You can use both ‘where do you live? Where do you work ? And where are you living? Where are you working? However....when you use ‘be verb+ing ‘ you are referring to something being more temporary, but with the present simple you’re suggesting it’s more permanent. ☺️💕
