So sorry to hear that you lost your father to alcoholism, Sean. That’s very tough, I can’t imagine how hard that’s been. Just know that he’s proud of you of the great person you’ve become

Congratulations Sean, My Grandfather struggled with alcohol and it made his life miserable, he drank until he got into a car accident. He was paralyzed and learned that he was never really saved. He spent the next years of his life preaching in prisons, Worshiping Jesus with his musical abilities, and repairing his broken relationships. He said that God put him on his back so that he would finally look up at him. He passed due do illness in 2017, I miss him, but his story still inspires me. Your story also inspires me, thanks for making these videos, they've opened my eyes to what could happen.

When I first started putting these videos out, I really didn’t know what would come of it. But every time I tell my story I got a bunch of DMs from people who appreciated. More recently when I’ve done my fan meet ups, every time someone comes up to me talks about these specific videos. At megacon 2 weeks ago someone asked up to me and told me they played my story at a recovery meeting. That’s great to hear every time.

Congratulations Sean. Same for me, I used to do drugs and as of May 7th of this year, I am seven years sober. It was a conscious decision for me to get sober after coming home night after night high and drunk and one day, my mother calls me a druggie and my sister looked at me wondering if I was going to be ok. It was tempting to get high again but I always remembered the worried face of my sister when I felt that urge and eventually, I just didn't want to do it anymore. I am happy for you Sean. I hope for many more years sober for you.

I am detoxing myself at the moment from alcohol, I am at day 9 without a drink, beat the physical side effects but in the mental game now, just down and exhausted and feel really low not myself but this is because with drinking you mess around with your natural dopamine levels in your brain. Just gotta hold in there wait for things to balance out and my depression and anxiety will reduce. Like you i lost my job in the past month but you have inspired me to hang in there , and also films , tv series, games and books are helping me not to dwell. Just want to say to you sean congratulations on 6 years be proud my friend with what you have achieved with your sobriety and with this channel. Always keep talking movies way too much ;)

After watching your 5 year celebration last year I went from living in my parents camper, drinking at least a case of beer a day, while putting my family in poverty.
