Both Jedi and Yoda come from Hebrew. Jedi is ידעי (yod`ay means "those who know" 3rd pers indirect pl) and Yoda is יודע (Yodei`a means "he knows" 3rd pers direct sing). Also Anakin Skywalker's mother is Shmi (שמי), so his mother is Jewish, which makes him and his wife, Amidala (עמידלה meaning"my people draw water out) Jewish, making their children Luke and Leia Jewish. The Jedis are Jewish warriors and Yoda is their Rabbi.
