Yes when coding keep in mind what has been told here. Without implementing this mechanism, you would fail in the interpretation of the code you have written because Labview vi generally exits at once when an error is already present at input side. So dont expect the result to be valid in this case and dont deduce actions as if the vi had worked succesfully.

If the sample period (sec) is positive, the sample skew (sec) must be greater than or equal to 0 and less than the sample period (sec).
