We look at a lot of LabVIEW code. Sometimes we see beginning developers not using the error cluster because they just have no idea how it works. Let's take a look at what's in the cluster, the difference between manual and automatic error handling, and the behavior of standard LabVIEW VIs and functions when they see an incoming error. This sets us up for a good discussion on error handling.

Yes when coding keep in mind what has been told here. Without implementing this mechanism, you would fail in the interpretation of the code you have written because Labview vi generally exits at once when an error is already present at input side. So dont expect the result to be valid in this case and dont deduce actions as if the vi had worked succesfully.

Can anyone help me with the following error Error -2356 occurred at Control & Simulation Loop in Simulation.vi/ Possible reason(s): Control Design and Simulation: The sample period (sec) must be either -1 or positive. If the sample period (sec) is positive, the sample skew (sec) must be greater than or equal to 0 and less than the sample period (sec).
