Great Project. I noticed in your finishing supplies that you had Arm R Seal. Did you use this on this project ?????
@SixEightWoodworks
@SixEightWoodworks 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I actually only used the Osmo on this. Arm R Seal used to be my go to finish. Still use it and love it. But using Osmo more and more these days.

I like to use pocket screws, but did use dowels for a 3sided sit down work table. The question I have is how would you get a !/4''' reveal with the dowel method?

do you remember how thick the table top was? I want to build a table top with 3/4x8 red cedar but i fear the it would split
@SixEightWoodworks
@SixEightWoodworks 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the top was about 3/4” thick. It is walnut, so a hardwood and a little more stable.

Great video, would you say that the osmo would hold up to outdoor conditions? Im building a table for a patio and was hoping to use something that has a matte finish like that instead of a poly urethane.
@SixEightWoodworks
@SixEightWoodworks 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I don’t think this particular Osmo would be a good exterior finish. Though they do have a large line of products, so they might have something intended for exterior use.
