I think more people from around Wilt should speak out about their experiences and have them shared before they pass away

Nice video. A few corrections: at 1:12, Billy says there were 82 games. Actually, in the 1961-62 season, the NBA season was only 80 games. At 1:58, Billy says it was the year (1966-67) Philly won the championship that Wilt led the league in assists. It was actually 1967-68, the year after Philly won the championship that Wilt led the league in assists. At 2:22, Billy is correct that Wilt went on a scoring rampage after the SI article. However, he didn't average over 60. His scoring was actually 68, 47, & 53. If he didn't miss as many free throws as he did, he probably would have averaged over 60!

By the way, in those 3 games where he scored 68, 47, and 53, his FG% in each of those was 75%, 79%, and 87%!

@Jorge Monsalve Correct. Only three players have accomplished the task of winning a scoring title and NBA championship in same year: Jordan (multiple times), Jabbar (once) and Shaq (once).

Billy "The Kangaroo Kid" Cunningham one of the prolific scorers in NBA History. He was the 6th man on that 1966-1967 Championship 76ers team. INSTANT OFFENSE!!! Jumped to the ABA and flourished in that league. Blew his heel out trying to make a comeback with the 76ers.

@@dumisatonyjohnson8145 possibly (most underrated F). Primarily cause of early career ending injury at 32. He would be revered and regarded with Baylor, Havlicek, Barry, Erving if not for that. Yes he was that good, his game that complete.

Sirr Jazz If you ask any Bostonian who he believes is the greatest to ever play We tell you that it is William Felton Russell (Bill Russell) 11 championship rings in thirteen seasons with Boston He was a champion of all champions in basketball 🏀 who made his teammates better If not Bill, then it's Larry Joe Bird (who I believe is the best Forward in the history of the National basketball Association)

That's exactly what I wanted and needed, especially with the great graphics, it's just a great combination and also makes you think how the two times blended, and the other passing to the other that passes to the others... Billy C and Wilt are two legends and this is a masterpiece, of course I searched for the reverse though I knew I could have only imagined and knew that Wilt did the same and thought as well (especially privately, sad that he couldn't live up to the times where it could have been frequent, luckly there's still Bill and all the other legends, respected and cherished one with each other just like for Wilt and them in turn), one masterpiece out of two is enough, though one can only imagine all the great players and of different teams with each other, Walt and Reed with Wes and Wilt and Bill and Rick Barry and so on all showing and encapsuling they thoughts some more, preservating what all that was in the late 50s, 60s and 70s, luckly, a full blown and complete one is Wilt-Bill, and encapsulated and recorded many times too (without forgetting Kareem too, though him as well only later, goat to goat, but knowing how Wilt would have cherished and respected the other part, especially looking back, rivalry/beef and before with mentorship and anyway being together and playing just like all the players there in the same era, sharing that in common; luckly for all the later years, even by the 70s too kind of, we are all packed with that, starting with the 80s with Magic and Larry and Isiah, all covered and by going further totally improving and completing). If only everyone of the past could have saw all the ones of the future as well, Wilt seeing AI or Lebron, just like Kareem and Bill luckly can with their counterparts, or especially having the chance to commentate and partecipate actively (we all know how Wilt did that privately, following the game and sports in general always even after having to retire and not being able to playe them - so veeery late as all know and in whatever league lol - ), just like Walt or Heinsohn and many other can and do, especially because, again, as active as Wilt was he probably would have still done it to this day, despite all health complications of his, and at his Russell-esque age lol We should absolutely try to interview all those 60s and 70s legends with no boundaries from superstars to stars to role players and all share their valuable and time-constrained view and opinions on each other, everything and the current/future players, definitely one could regret it otherwise, both parts would miss that.

Especially valuable, particular, true and overlooked was the economy and sustainability factor of those two and that time, they really don't know but Wilt and Russell is up there with Magic and Bird and MJ and the 90s legends, without those two it would have just been all shattered before any further recovery time and boost, so no Bird, Magic and so on. All the successive and later "crisis" weren't the only ones that the Nba and definitely It wasn't all fine until those points, and they were all reached only because, before those years and situations, the league could upstart in those 60s and with all the great and famous players of the time, woah!
