SIXFORSIX: Alberto Barbera, Artistic Director Venice Film Festival

One of the six international influencers in our SIXFORSIX collaboration with Lanificio Cerruti, Alberto Barbera is the Artistic Director of the Venice Film Festival. Born in Biella, the town where the Lanificio Cerruti factory is based, Alberto began his career at the Italian Association of Art Film Theatres. As a critic he has written for various newspapers and magazines as well as having hosted both television and radio shows. He has been Director of the Torino Film Festival, Director of the Venice Film Festival and Director of the National Museum of Cinema in Torino.
