i believe that is more on the shoulders, when you pike , you drive back the chest cavity, and you use more of the serratus going down, the concentric phase will rely more on the shoulders. just saying...

Nope, we are not in a pike press yet here. At most it wil work the upper part of your chest more but in reality it simply works your full chest and your anterior chain ( front of your body ). For it to really get to a point where it starts to work your shoulders you need to go much higher with the hips into an actual pike press.

ok I'm going to take this is for guys lol but I have a question being a woman and already have a large chest lol can this help me firm up the chest area?

Men and women can use this and yes it will help but it depends what your actual goal is or why you are trying to firm up your chest? Do you want to support your breast or do you simply want to build your chest. But yes this can help. I don't really do MALE or FEMALE any more when it comes to workouts and exercise, it's simply, beginner, inter and advanced :)

Oh ok :) just want to tone up that's all. Losing alot of weight down 30 lbs already and just want to keep firm as I go.

It comes down to HOW you are losing weight. So if you are on a good program and are just losing fat then you should get more "toned" every week as you are holding on to your muscle and losing fat but if you are on some crazy program that makes you lose muscle as well you need to just fix that. But well done on the weight loss far! Keep rocking!

Well I have a scale that shows your weight. Water weight, fat % and muscle % and my fat % is going down and my muscle % is going up :) and I'm not on any crazy programs I just completely changed what I eat and watch your videos and they have helped alot. Thanks :)

Do divebomber pushups completely work develop the chest, shoulders, & triceps without the need for extra chest or shoulder or tricep movements in the same training day ?

It does work all three but it depends what your goal is. It won't hit your shoulders enough to build massive shoulder for example but for just over strength it is a great exercise..

Yes and no, triceps will get hit a bit more but it will depend how close and how far back you put your hands. The closer together the more you will hit your triceps. I would do something like a DB either to warm-up and then hit each mucle e.g. chest, triceps and shoulder with 3 differnet push-ups like : normal pushup, close grip pushup and pike pushup or I would start with the 3 different push-ups for each muscle group and then use the DB as a finisher exercise. That will be the best way for you to hit each muscle group and get the best results.

Wow I have a question. Would this help me if im also learning new techniques of doing other pushup variations as well? And what other exercises would you recommend because I Really want to get into the Navy when I leave school so I want to start now and build up from here.

It will be you can only LEARN how to do other technaieu by actually doing those types of push-ups. So decide what it is that you want to learn and build those exercises into your program each week.
