I just want to say a huge thank you. I'm the cook in my house, and a Social Worker for the VA, so it's a busy and challenging life especially since the start of COVID-19 issues. I watch many cooking channels, but the Sisters is by far my favorite and I come here again and again. Thank you for making my life so much easier to manage. Not only are you helping me, you're helping veterans by helping me eat healthier and have less stress in my life. You guys not only have a great channel, but you make a difference in the world.

I made the pot roast a few days ago. Because of stomach surgery I havent been able to eat beef for 15 years. It was just too hard to digest plus its a bit rough on my teeth. Made this for my partner and it was absolutely delicious. He's happy for me to make this again. No stomach issues and so gentle on the teeth!! Flavour was incredible. Next time I'll do less celery and lots more carrot. Thankyou so much for this recipe.

Oh my! That pot roast! I’ve been craving pot roast, but they seem to have been taken out of the sale rotation at my grocery stores for over a year now - which is about when I ate the last one out of my freezer. The last two weeks I’ve added and removed the roasts from my cart at two different stores (I shop online) a few times. I have refused to pay the price for just myself, but this has pushed me over the edge! I’m ordering one this week! Oh, and I’m trying the taco roll ups - they’re perfect for a family of 1 or 2 to use up leftover rotisserie chicken! And I can make just as many as I need at a time! Ditto the pizza jobbers, and they look so fast and easy! Perfect for visiting kids!

I live alone and cook for myself. I'm not too much of a casserole person or a sandwich person. My average dinner is usually a nicely cooked piece of meat, beef pork or chicken, some brown rice or roasted baby potatoes and a vegetable. I like to keep it simple. I just made the sweet and sour meatballs in the instant pot for the first time last year and they were to die for! I've been making those chili sauce and grape jelly meatballs since the 80s! They are always a crowd-pleaser.

I cannot wait to make that chicken alfredo! I plan on adding some broccoli to it as well to make it a complete meal. And the leftovers will be lunch for the week at work. My coworkers are always jealous of my lunches and I keep telling them get an instant pot it will change your life. I’ve recommended your channel to my butcher who bought an instant pot but he’s been too intimidated to use it. I told him this channel is the best for learning how to use it and getting great simple recipes that will please everyone. Take care of yourself and enjoy your time with the new little one! They grow up so fast! My baby boy turned 15 today and it’s heartbreaking for me that he’s getting older, he’s more independent and soon he will be leaving the nest. It seems like yesterday I just brought him home. The time has gone by too fast and I wish I could pause and rewind it. I wish I had more time with him, I wish I could go back in time and soak in all of the memories of his childhood like his first trip to the ocean, his shrieks of delight when the waves crashed against his little feet, his first trip to the Grand Ole Opry where Rascal Flatts played Life is a Highway and him dancing in the aisle saying momma Cars they play Cars momma!!!!, his first trip to the zoo, his first trip to Disney, when he saw London from the top of the Eye of London, I wish I could go back in time to those moments and freeze time. Cherish the time and savor every moment.

@@SixSistersStuff you are so welcome! My son isn’t the lucky one to have me, I’m the lucky one to have such a sweet, considerate and amazing son. I’ve told him since the day he was born he is the best thing that has ever happened to me and always will be. He is most precious gift I will ever receive and such a huge blessing. I don’t know what I did to get so lucky to be chosen for him to call me momma but I am forever grateful he does. He’s my miracle baby. I almost lost him 3 times in the pregnancy and started going into labor at 20 weeks with him but somehow he hung in there. When he was 11 months old he got RSV that turned into pneumonia and his little heart stopped at the hospital. For 2 1/2 minutes we thought he had died. When he started crying it was the most beautiful sound in the world, I knew he was going to be ok even though the doctors told me he probably wouldn’t survive the night after that. Knowing he’s here and healthy 14 years later is a testimony to how lucky I am to be his mom. I will never forget the terror of those 2 1/2 minutes New Years Day of 2008. There’s a bond between us that cannot be broken after that.
