Really appreciate your putting up all these videos. I've never felt comfortable using a pick and although haven't had many guitar teachers (or for long); all have tried to get me to use one. I've been pig headed about it and kept doing my thing so it's great to see such a skillful payer like yourself playing fingerstyle on the electric guitar. Before seeing your work I had not been disciplined with the right hand and am now working a lot on the tremelo patterns over scales and arpeggios. Really noticing a difference. Just have all your other material to go through... Many thanks!

Thanks again. The pdf file really helps to see what is happening. Also I can see where I can take some of the other pentatonic shapes and build my library of exercises.

Hey all the way from India! (: Thanks so much for all these videos! Fingerstyle always felt more natural to me but it was when I saw Richie Kotzen play lead that way that I really got into it. Your videos have been immensely helpful! Also, would be cool if you put up a couple of performance videos! (:

Hey! Thanks a lot! I'm glad that they've been useful to you. I keep intending to put some decent performance videos up, its just finding the time... (thanks for the prod though!)

Thanks for these Steve, I've been looking for some hand synchronisation exercises that are more musical than chromatic scales.

Good finger exercise lesson. Any way we can get you to start out slow so we can see what string/notes you are hitting?

+loopie007 Hi loopie, getting the balance right for guitarists of different levels is always a challenge, but I'll keep your comments in mind. I've put tabs for the exercises in the description field so that should hopefully show you what I'm doing as well.
