Just to add on the pregnancy scan and why they didn’t say anything right away. Some imaging is being done by technicians, and then interpreted by doctors. Same with x-rays, person that operates imaging machines only makes sure the right area is in the picture frame and its not distorted/blurry, they don’t say anything there and then. Same when I had uterus ultrasound to check for tumour growth, and you’d think that person doing the scan has eyes and can see - especially that they need to close up and save image for each of tumour, including their size - but they are not allowed to say anything, they will say that doctor will interpret and then you find out. It’s the most frustrating knowing they have all the info right there in front of them, but you have to wait weeks or even months to find out what’s going on (obv with pregnancy it’d be quicker, matters of days hopefully)

I couldn't help it. 30 horrible minutes later, I found out I had an ectopic pregnancy, and there was no heartbeat. They should be allowed to tell mothers in situations like that. I don't understand why they force you to wait for the doctor. He didn't perform the ultrasound. He didn't do anything. He blankly read from a piece of paper, like I had a common cold. At least the nurse cared enough to feel bad. I should have the right to know immediately if my own baby is alive.

Then the fact that if you legally get divorced, you can't get divorced in the eyes of God without meeting Catholic lawyers, and showing proof that your partner wasn't treating you in the way a godly husband should (when my grandmother and grandfather did this so they could finally marry in the church 45 years after legal marriage, it took 6 months for the court to decide dispite both their ex's having their own family's for almost 50 years) and it can be exaughsting, not to mention the amount of shame you get when you divorce your husband and a Christian woman is crazy. This religion teaches us that as women, our whole repsonsibility is to fix our husbands and make him a good man, and do whatever he wanted - it's quite literally in the bible that we are to never question our husbands.

Just finished this this morning. But as I was listening to her story I noticed a lot of things she said didn't match up. A lot of things she said I know don't work the way she's claiming they do, she changes things in the story that at first I thought was just her jumping around, but later realized that some of those things just can't possibly be both truth at the same time, and a lot of things just flat out don't sound right or believable. I think she herself is also lying for attention and sorry, but I think that everyone is feeling so sorry that people don't seem to be noticing all of HER red flags. I don't think any police officer or judge would believe this story. There is just too much wrong with it. I think the painful details she's using, she's using because it makes someone seem more trust worthy when they can "remember" all those details.
@mephistopheles49108 ай бұрын
And if it's true she's working with Netflix, it would be smart for them to verify all of her claims so they don't get dragged into litigation because she alleged to mention some people's real names in her story.

@@Mama_Bear524 TikTok only allows you to do 10 minute videos at a time. Back in the day youtube was the same, and people routinely did 50+ parts to various kinds of series because that was the only way to do long-form content. I don't see what the issue is when tiktok pays like sht for ad revenue, and you have to be partnered first anyway. So she's not getting money from this and it truly does sound like a vent. If she wanted attention it'd make far more sense to condense it down into one or two digestible tiktoks and clickbait the fck out of them. Or hell, move to youtube and advertise that longer video on your tiktok.

This is not an unusual story. I know 2 people who have gone through the same thing. The constant lying made it impossible to check up on any particular lie because there were five more to deal with all the time. Constant drama. Someone's always dying or in the hospital. One woman pretended to have terminal cancer and also got pregnant. She had a lot of baby showers, collected a lot of cash and gifts and sympathy. Then she had a "miscarriage." More sympathy and she cashed in all the gifts. She's done it several times (I know 'cause I hired a PI). She was going to buy a $1 million house. Put in the offers, it was accepted, the excited homeowners packed up, and then something always happened with the title company. She did that several times. She had several identities, used several social security numbers, etc. Nothing less than a sociopath.

To answer your question, I 100% encourage asking a future spouse for a background check, as well as an STD test (that’s more optional, but it’s still smart to do). It’s very invasive, but this person is going to be the parent to your children, and you’ll be your most vulnerable next to them everyday, hopefully for the rest of your life. The first thing my uncle did when he learned I was engaged was pull up a background check on him, and having a clean record made me feel so much more safe

Her husband was an extremely manipulative person & emotionally / financially abusive man. As someone who’s been with an abusive partner in the past, it genuinely breaks my heart that she went through this. Leo, those types of partners are so difficult to leave. They can distort your perception of reality, convince you that you’re crazy for questioning them, isolate you and lead you to believe you’d be nothing without them. With that said, I just wanted to say it’s tough to watch people dunk on this lady for ‘choosing the wrong man’, believing his bs & not leaving sooner.
