going into year 13 and, like you, we have a strict business wear... i shop at asos, primark, zara amongst others and trust me when i say they’re not as strict as the school says they are - you’ll work out after a few weeks how lenient they are and what you’ll get away with :)) i wish you all the best and if you have any questions, just ask!! x

side note: -invest in pretty blouses that you can wear with skirts/trousers -patterned skirts are cute with black long sleeve tops and are very versatile -m&s cashmillion jumpers are £15 but VERY soft and cosy, they have a range of colours and can go with skirts and trousers

I’ve just ordered some trousers from next that are called chinos and they are fitted round the waist as I struggle with that as well but they aren’t as fitted in the leg so hopefully you won’t get dress coded! They’re currently on the website for £20 and there’s lots of colours! Love the video xx

with kids skirts theres a button thing inside, most of the time at least, with an elastic that u can pull with holes for the buttons so you can change it to how tight or loose you want the waist bit. suprisingly lots of ppl dont know abt this 🤷🏽‍♀️ edit- also depends on the type of skirt but specifically in more workwear and school skirts and trousers not normal jersey skirts hope this helped :)

Tip! The blazer you have has loosely threaded shut pockets which you're meant to just rip open to get the pockets, you can tuck the flappy bits into the pocket to hide them that way Hope this helps :)
