Absolutely right, there should be one seperate Election Commission,and it should be an independent body that can't be controlled either by the state govt.or autonomous council. Its Chief Election Commissioner should be drawn from retired High Court Judge or a retired IAS officer..

The suggestions from NCHAC Haflong that is now incorporated in the 10 sixth schedule areas from mizoram, meghalaya, tripura and assam, are not specific.It seems the other autonomous district councils are very detailed, but from Haflong it is not clear because the nchiis council leaders are very secretive and there is no co- operation and free and fair dealing on the part of the nchills council leaders, hope in the future the people of dima hasao does not suffer.
