One of my favorite bands with Lovebites, Némophila, The Warning, Gacharic Spin. And Jayoung has a fantastic voice.

Hi Bob, thanks for the reaction / review, I really appreciate it. I follow Rolling Quartz since they started posting music videos on KZbin even before their debut, I love them and find it fascinating to watch them ‘evolving’. Some comments if I may: Sanullim was the most influential Sth Korean rock band of the 70s. The song Reminiscence was written by Kim Chang-hoon, one of the three brothers forming the band. RQ was requested by Kim Chang-hoon (the guy sitting in the middle of the recording studio) to participate in the Sanullim 50th Anniversary Remake Project and mutually picked this song. I used to play in a rock band many years ago, and if my comment means anything, these girls not only did justice to the original song but lifted it into a different universe. They not only play traditional rock with extreme high skills, they live it too. They love it, they have a blast playing, and yes, they deserve the world. Here is the link to the Sanullim original: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWWVnmaMZ8yhaLs. Judge it yourself. Many thanks again for your comments, Cheers

They do the song very well. And she has an amazing voice. They're all so good. I've read that the guy sitting in the chair is the guy that wrote the song.

Cool. I had no idea who he was.

Nice reaction Dave ;) . I don't really know how anyone can watch this and not be moved. Even if the language stops you from relating to the lyrics, it is so beautifully done, and performed with such emotion, it is easy to be swept away. I don't know too many bands that can first of all, make a power ballad out of a song that was not originally written that way, then deliver it in a fantastic performance. Will this make the same numbers as FEARLESS? No, but it is a tribute to the flexibility and musical diversity of every member of this band - to be able to dial it back and give a soulful controlled demonstration of skill.

That the original writer and performer gave this cover a whole hearted approval says volumes! What a voice!

I know RQ will be awesome in London next Jan, Bobb, but this one got me good cos lead guitarist Choi Hyun Jung's dad recently died.😔
