Well done, no hiding your face behind the video any more. They actually played 'Headbanger' twice at this concert - this was the one played during the encores towards the end (and it is the original and best version of course), but they opened the whole show with a bit of theatre to the backing of Schubert's 'Ave Maria' followed by the "Night of 15 Headbanger Remix" ... a version used 12 months before for Su-metal's 15th birthday show (Legend D). The Legend 1997 show was the final stage in their separation and transitioning from a sub-unit of a Jpop Idol group to becoming an independent band in their own right, so there was a narrative running throughout the whole show which showed that transition (and it ended up with one of the most "metal" performances you will ever see - I have no doubt you must have been recommended 'BABYMETAL Death' live at legend 1997 for a future reaction). The Night of 15 Remix was an unapologetic and completely lip-synced representation of their roots as a Jpop Idol group sub-unit - it is a dance remix of the song ... not so much metal, more rave.

This entire concert had this energy. Nothing like BABYMETAL. I never been so happy and emotionally invested in a Band before. I like all kinds of music but BABYMETAL is the only one I listen to daily. And it is my mission to see them Live anytime possible. I am based in Las Vegas currently and I will see them if they come here again, Denver, and California as I lived in both areas as well and have family in each. Biggest dream is to see them in Japan. 🤘🦊🤘

That’s one of the things I really like about them, the positive vibe that I get from their music regardless of what they’re singing about. I’m the same way, I will go see them here but my goal is to see them in Japan. I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. But now that I am getting into their music scene, I want to go even more.

I am with you. I needed the breath of fresh air. Most Metal got stagnated and unoriginal. Then the girls came along made it fun again and just mixed up the whole scene, mixed in any genera they felt like. It is a very modern take on Metal. They even did a Swedish Metal Polka with the lead singer of Sabaton. The girls are like "Yeah, we can do it. Hold my beer and watch this."... The singer has been on stage since age 5, so at 16 she already has 11 years of experience, total pro. She is 23 now and she can just twirl her finger and a vicious mosh/circle pit will break out...

Legend 1997 Apocalypse is a concert celebrating Su-Metal aka Suzuka Nakamoto 16th Birthday 🎉(Seitansai) which took place in Makuhari Messe in Chiba prefecture. Headbanger (Babymetal song) "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" (ヘドバンギャー!!, Hedobangyā!!) is a single by the Japanese heavy metal band Babymetal. Released in Japan on July 4, 2012 in promotion for the album Sakura Gakuin 2012 Nendo: My Generation, the single serves as the third single from the debut album Babymetal. It is also the band's first solo audio release to be released commercially. Single: Babymetal Album: Babymetal and Sakura Gakuin 2012 Nendo: My Generation Language: Japanese Released: July 4, 2012 Genre: Power metal Length: 14:44 Label: Juonbu Songwriter: Edometal, Nakametal, Narasaki Producer: Kobametal Narametal: (arrangement) Babymetal singles chronology:- "Babymetal / Kiba of Akiba": (2012) "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!": (2012) "Ijime, Dame, Zettai": (2013) Background and release:- Unlike previous tracks released by the band, which had her vocal recorded in segments within the songs, Nakamoto had her lines recorded in a single take several times. She had been told to sing and find a story within the music. By the time she had comprehended the story behind the lyrics, she grew capable of singing the entire song naturally. When Mizuno and Kikuchi listened to her shouting "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" for the first time, they felt as if they had seen another cool side of her, surprised by the vocal power. Additionally, the single introduced the members to the whispering style of singing, with the A-side's "Kiero!" (Disappear!) and the B-side's "Uki Uki Midnight". Kobametal was inspired to use it to contrast traditional death growls. "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" was announced as a single on April 27, 2012, with a release date set for July 7, 2012. The single was released in two versions: a standard edition, available via CD and digital formats, and a physical limited Hedo-ban ("Head edition"), which contains a CD and a "neck corset" (actually a cervical collar) for headbanging training.[5] Both editions of the single feature the songs "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!" and "Uki Uki ★ Midnight" (ウ・キ・ウ・キ★ミッドナイト, "Exhilarating Midnight"), along with instrumental versions (labeled as "Air Vocal ver."). The standard version contains an enhanced CD with a bonus music video of "Babymetal Death", which can only be played on a computer. The artwork of the standard edition depicts a lyric in the song, specifically when the girl is headbanging with the corset, with the crimson-colored moon in the background, as well as the band name appearing at the top. The limited edition artwork depicts a temple scripture of the "Corset of Legend" with the song title spelled out in the middle. Before the physical international release of the song, its title was written ambiguously as either "Head Bangya!!" or "Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!", the latter of which is officially used in the international re-release of Babymetal and all future releases. The music video uploaded to the band's KZbin channel initially had the former name, though it was switched to the latter in 2015; the version uploaded by Toy's Factory consistently retained the official title. S Tekina Remix:- During the live performances Legend "D" Su-metal Seitansai at Akasaka Blitz on December 20, 2012, and Legend "1997" Su-metal Seitansai at Makuhari Messe on December 21, 2012, a remix titled "Night of 15 mix." was performed, containing more elements of electronic music. The former took place on Suzuka Nakamoto's actual fifteenth birthday, while the latter was the opening song for the concert. Remixed by DJ'Tekina//Something, the song was later released as part of Social Reform promotional editions of the single "Ijime, Dame, Zettai", and later appeared on DJ'Tekina//Something's remix album Kawa-EDM (2016), re-subtitled as "Tekina Remix". Live:- Legend 1999 & 1997 Apocalypse (stylized as LIVE~LEGEND 1999&1997 APOCALYPSE) is the second live video release by the Japanese heavy metal band Babymetal. The album contains live footage of two shows, entitled Legend "1999" and Legend "1997" (named after birth years of the members of Babymetal), performed in Japan in 2013. It was released in 2-disc DVD and Blu-ray formats on October 29, 2014. Live: Legend 1999 & 1997 Apocalypse:, Released: October 29, 2014. Recorded: June 30, 2013 (Legend "1999"). December 21, 2013 (Legend"1997"). Venue: NHK Hall (Legend "1999"). Makuhari Messe (Legend "1997"). Genre: Kawaii metal J-pop heavy metal Length: 75:28 (Legend "1999") 82:24 (Legend "1997") Label: BMD Fox Toy's Factory Amuse Director: InniVision Producer: Kobametal Babymetal video chronology Live:, Legend I, D, Z Apocalypse (2013). I love that "where is this going?" head tilt at 1:36. 🤔 That is the kind of thing I watch reaction videos for. That genuine response which so often mirrors my own initial response to Babymetal. A bit of vicarious re-living. I appreciate you taking the time to re-edit the video. Thanks. I was listening to the hard rock bands from the late 1960's and moved in to early metal (we just called it hard rock) with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple in the early 1970's. Went on to other genre's later that decade. Babymetal brought me back around 40 years later. Favorite band ever for this old man.

Personal guess(hope?) in here: as soon as they get the new albumful of songs written, choreographed and learned(music/singing/dancing) well enough for their expected quality..oh, and possibly found a partner to balance Moa, they simply look better as a trinity(no, not expecting Yui back, but leaving a little room for the possibility of it)

@@weirdomon2 Because of COVID-19, Nogizaka 46 Tokyo Dome 2021 final concert was also announced yesterday that it was postponed. The current epidemic situation in Tokyo is very bad, so I guess BabyMetal can only release singles until the epidemic is over.

This is much better now we can see your reaction. I totally agree with you that Japan is the epicenter of fresh metal music right now. This is a high energy performance from the girls. Yui and Moa are principally tasked with whipping the crowd into a frenzy and they do it sooo well. They are often asking the crowd for more with their chants like "lift me up", "give me more" and "Go, go, go, go". I heard another reactor refer to Yui and Moa as the Devil's cheerleaders and I think that pretty much fits the them to a T. Another awesome reaction, I can't wait for the next one. Awesome, thanks for re-editing and re-releasing it! Now we can see properly your reaction. Non verbal language is very important, sometimes more important than verbal. I also feel more comfortable commenting on a non mixed fandoms context... although both are very respectful and many people are fans of both bands. BABYMETAL is definitely fun to watch live. Mostly because they originated as a live act and the choreo is designed to hype the audience. So the full package is both auditory and visual. Not to mention the fact they sound better live due the Kami Band performance and, of course, Su's unique skills singing live. Until next time!
