It's a great offering and a lot of fun. Scales somewhat better with Dr Wu figures but is not bad at all with Legends. In carrier mode the thighs can shift over to allow the legs to be pegged together.

I got this bot and i absolutely love it. Magnets are the way to go as they seem to preserve the battery life. I tried the remote first and it killed the batteries fast. Mine didn’t have any QC issues, thankfully. For the money, it is a must buy if you want a G1 Metroplex that really shines. The only gripe I has was the instructions are not very clear if you can’t read Chinese.

Great Review, what I find interesting is that you compare him to NewAge's OS for $160, and he's a screaming deal, then compare NA OS price point to Pangu's and Pangu's OS is a Screaming Deal. Admittedly NA OS is a better product, but Siyang is right up there with NA, and he's the same price (right now) and almost twice as big.BANG for the Buck? You Betcha! Glad I preordered mine and got him. Contemplating a second, and would LOVE to see a Trypticon.

Nice review. I love this figure. Brings back kid vibes when I got the G1 for Christmas. The only negative is the batteries suck. Already dead after one day.

I got mine in from Bombusbee last month. I like it even with QC issues. Some are having issues with the head being tight being extended or retracted. On mine the helmet can't be closed when the eyes shades are flipped up. I ended up damaging one of the LED eyes trying to get the chip in his head.

Considered getting the generations one, but I’m ok with a smaller Metroplex too. Especially when it’s significantly cheaper than the generations one.

Mike did your order ship from showzstore by sea? Mine says it’s being shipped by sea and it’s not what I chose I picked the normal 15-20 day shipping that I aways do…weird and it’s saying it’s going to take 40-70 days to get to the Country I definitely wouldn’t have picked this and if there was a faster option I would have paid more to get it at a decent time 🤔

For me, this a placeholder piece at best if I talked myself into purchasing it. Yes, it is relatively cheap but I really feel you are getting what you pay for with this product. I don't like the head QC issues, the lack of paint, the choice of grey plastic, the pack in of the weird build a figure windblade instead of six gun or scamper and the biggest reason for me personally: it is way too small. Hopefully, liketoys can get theirs into production one day. That to me is the scale I am looking for in my legends. If it never makes production, then I will just do without. Now if someone were to upside this and make a painted version and fix the issues with the head then I might reconsider.

Yup, I have Utopia. Wonder how it compares. Not crazy about the electronic gimmicks and I like the aesthetic on Utopia so I'd still get this but keep Utopia.

Same, I have Utopia and while there are things with this Metroplex I like better, I'm worried that for other aspects it might feel like an inferior product.

Looking at your opening it seems the colors are toon accurate. There are joints at the knees to close up the legs for the mobile fortress mode.

I’ve been really into collecting small transformers even non transformers and I find that these smaller figures are way more awesome plus don’t take up as much space.I wanted the huge Metroplex years ago released and now that I have transformers Minimates the Japanese version of Unicron and so fourth adding this metroplex would be great right size for my little diorama and I included the reaction devastation and war in pocket dinobots

I don't think you are subbed to me 😊 i did a video on him 👍🏾🙂. I think the gray is correct to toon accuracy . If you look at his lower legs is gray, and his upper legs is white and his upper body is gray also it's the sameway on g1 metroplex and on the cartoon stations Mode, you missed the little wheels under his crouch area. Also, the white guns extend in battle station mode, and the legs comes together there is a second peg area when fold the legs. There is a fake missile launcher in chest. The other black gun can go on his other arm in between the towers. The ramp can touch the ground you didn't pull it all the way out. The lights have a timer on them. I want that triptacon also. So i was weirdly lucky and unlucky, mines got through custom on release from the get go so i was one of the first to get him, alas it meant i didnt get the refund folk got for it being late :/

It's a pass for me. Robot mode looks good and I like the lights, but battle station is always bad and the city mode is not great. The only one who have a decent city mode to me is Utopia, and even that one is meh. If I didn't had a fully loaded LG-EX, the one with an extra gun, I would consider Vladivostok. My LG-EX have the feet and hands upgrades, a few Hasbro Sixguns and Slammers, with Turrets, Manacle, Six Sigma and Gears of War, also all stickered out. He have way too many guns.

The battery's die fast be because the chip is constantly running 24/7 while off to stay connected to the remote 🙂👍🏾. The touch is the best way to go lol plus they gave us cheap batteries 😉. Be blessed
