Thank you for showing us step-by-step how to edit a picture in BooknBrush, Canva, and Adobe Express because this thing isn't easy. Great continuation, Atticus!

Thank you. Now I see why you need two photos. One for right side and one for left side.

Exactly! I'm glad this helped!

Simple and fairly straight forward. Would be nice if you had added the link o the video on importing the images into Atticus to save time searching for it.

Good afternoon Monique! Just finished your webinar out in California on 8/17, AWESOME, and with my microphone not working and could not get to this question and missed your email address. Quick question to see if I can get to you through this format. I AM an ATTICUS new use of a few months, LOVE IT, and yet now struggling with my images. My quick question is do you personally use double page bleeds to start ALL of your chapters, or only a select few. I am finishing my real life adventure book pedaling UP the Mississippi and the idea of photos, stock images, clipart, images behind the text of a chapter page is SO COMPELLING and gorgeous from what you have shown us. How often should one use? Once you start should you do for every chapter or pick and choose? Thank you!

Hi Kenny, glad you enjoyed the webinar! You are always welcome to write into support for more help with your image spreads, but how many you use is really up to you. I would say the vast majority of published books don't use any, but some do with beautiful results. It's personal! It sounds like you have some great content to showcase though, so use as many images as the reader will appreciate with your content. If you check out our website, there is a tutorial with a calculator to help you get the image sizes just right: www.atticus.io/calculate-image-size-for-print-and-ebooks/ I hope it goes well!

Question: how do you determine the correct size for pictures if the book size is A5?

How about images for ebooks?
@AtticusWriter8 ай бұрын
They'll generally resize to fit the device, but you want to keep the file size as low as you can to help with deliverability, and always proof every page before publishing, just to be safe!

This is way too much work for an image!

Unfortunately, that's the reality of formatting a professional quality book. Most of the graphic editing should be done before it's brought into Atticus. I hope it works out for you!
