Sizing Your Ring for the Perfect Fit

A ring should feel comfortable when past the knuckle but fit snug over the knuckle. Your finger size can change hourly. Your ring will fit differently depending on the time of day, the temperature outside, what you've had for lunch, and how you work with your hands. In other words, plan on having a ring that sometimes feels too loose and sometimes feels too tight. The goal is to get it so it feels right most of the time. Here's how to size your finger:
1. Relax your finger with a slight curve
2. Look for snugness with a sizing gauge that requires a 3 second wiggle over the knuckle.
3. If you take your ring off at night and put it on in the morning, you'll spend only 6 seconds over your knuckle. It's about 57,600 seconds per day of wearing it past the knuckle. Make it comfortable but avoid a size that allows the ring to easily flip around your finger.
4. When removing the sizing gauge, push up to clear the skin of your knuckle.

I have a gold signet ring that I want to wear, I can get it on but have difficulty getting it off. It does not cut circulation past my knuckle just very snug on getting it off. Should I try to get it resized or does it fit well if I can get it off just takes longer than 3 seconds

Where does your ring sit on your finger cuz I just got a class ring and i think its alil big cuz i can move it up to my nuckle and it stays there and sometimes it twists to one side on its own...does that means its to big?

I tried one at the mall that was too small. I started to panic when it wouldn't come off than as my finger started to turn purple my face started to sweat and it turned red like a fuckin tomato I started to scream get it off!!! get it off!!! In extreme panic rolling around on the floor. Finally my girlfriend put some lotion on my finger after the ring lady, the 2 security guards and my 2 kids were able to hold me down it finally came off. I guess that's what I get for trying to steel a ring without checking the size first 😱😱😱😂😂😂😂
