The Ramaphosa and Hellen Zille's GNU has never been a GNU. It was initially meant to become a COALITION between ANC, DA and IFP. But after ANC , Ramaphosa and Fikile Mbalula got exposed that they signed AGREEMENT without understanding, they changed mind regarding their COALITION and disguised it to GNU. They involved other parties, and that is where Zille became annoyed and angry. Hellen Zille thought their AGREEMENT with ANC was going to be a COALITION but shocked to see it turning into something else. Ramaphosa and Fikile tried to do DAMAGE CONTROL by inviting every Party. In the process, they OVERPOPULATED the GNU constitutes. Helle Zille REJECTS this OVERCROWDÈDNESS. It's not WHAT THEY AGREED UPON WITH ANC Ramaphosa .

I read it as a negotiating gambit on the part of Zille ...ask for 100 but be ready to accept 40. For example DIRCO they would probably accept Naledi being re-appointed, but they will probably fight for Minerals & Energy (Gwede) and Trade (Patel of SACP), given the importance to the economy. Plus COGTA (municipalities) so that they can score points for the 2026 elections.
