Sizzla for me is the xpression of what created a reject from the european audience ....... although i not rate homophobia, it's imporTant to read beetween the lines of a cultural context... Sizzla is an artist , he is complex , and seems to me to be a good picture of Jamaica's complexity which europe , as Reggae get more and more mainstream, has not been able to take , and rejected it instead. From then and as a result, i see a fondmmental separation that was allready there anyway .... people from europe realised that Jamaican culture was not tailored to suit all their values. To me the reggae scene has splitted beetween those who try to understand Jamaica and its complexity and those who have try to reduce it to a simple and reassuring image of a hippy-rasta who s not disturbing their western representations ..... If you want understand Jamaica you need to interest yourself to Sizzla
