SJ & WBJ - A normal day, a model railroad

This is a model railroad build by Torbjörn Holmberg

It is a model of Swedish standard and narrow gauge, track gauge 891 mm, the scale of 0 (1.45)which provides a model gauge of 19.8 mm. Which means that all tracks including the railroad switches are built by hand. Approximate year of the model is the end of the 1950s, with some deviation.
All the houses have their real role models from the Swedish countryside , preferably older buildings. Some of them we have measured and photographed and the rest has been built from the drawings that we have found.

Superb presentation! Excellent modelling combined with fabulous effects (real sounds, unbelievable atmospherics - smoke, real people & animals, etc). The only things betraying that this is miniatures is shadows on the "sky" (backdrop) &, although much greater depth of field (focus) than most model videos, still not what full size videography would present. But that's just being picky! Otherwise flawless - even down to the opening scene with film dirt & GATE WEAVE!!! Marvelous!
