It's a good review. Personally I wouldn't buy it though. The form factor doesn't have a lot of advantages for most uses. The screen is tiny and it makes the menus a bit awkward too. In addition it won't be compatible with a lot of existing accessories for standard form factors. Some reviewers are saying the 4k is fake as well, and it seems the evidence points to that. The audio is bad, but that's a common problem at this price. It would be interesting to see how the video compares to other budget action cameras like the Akaso V50X which offers true 4k and is selling at around the US$100 price point.

No point recording in 4K 30 because it does not film in 4K, it does not have a 4K chip so you are better to film in 2K 60.

Got the C200 and love the fact that it is build like a little tank: its body is out of metal and contrary to the C300 water/rain proof without a case. Touch screen is an improvement imo, as the button pressing on the C200 is a bit annoying. In case you want the smallest formfactor (without the 'batterygrip') you cannot use the camera in the 'normal' way, as the lens and the screen are on the same side; great for self absorbed vloggers, totally unusable for 'normal' usage. Mic placement is a bit stupid imo; they should have added a second one on the other side. What are the time-settings for timelapse?

I don't think I would buy it for vlogging. The biggest problem is the bad audio quality. Also I'm not really sold on that form factor, I don't think there are a lot of advantages and it means the screen is tiny. Some people are saying the 4k is fake as well because the sensor and chipset don't support it.

Great question! I totally forgot to talk about this. You can use it and record plugged in to a power source. It even works if you remove the battery and have it plugged in.
