Thank you! After a fairly long gap where I didn't have much time to work on music, I just recently brought this channel back to life, so good timing haha. I'm writing more music still, so I plan to keep the tunes/videos coming now. Glad you liked it!

Yes it is. Composition is tough, at least for me. Takes me an embarrassingly long amount of time to figure out what part sound good after another part. Great job!

hey steve, man, I'm impressed that you're an excellent songwriter, I remember when I first heard "the span between 1 distance" I thought "I've never heard something like that" is really amazing your album, is very short, but incredible, a big hug from Brazil

Amazing stuff! The production value is off the charts. I can't imagine how much effort this took. I would love to know your writing process and your recording techniques. Congratulations! Please keep creating.

Thanks so much for your feedback. Prior to putting this full album together, I didn't have much experience mixing or mastering, so it took me quite a while before I was satisfied enough with the production quality. Glad you like how it turned out! Happy to share any info about the writing/recording process :) Feel free to reach out on Facebook (facebook.com/StevenDeMartiniMusic/) or wherever! And I'll definitely keep writing more music.

I don't do Facebook. Maybe you could do a video on your recording set up/philosophy and writing process. That is, if you feel comfortable doing one. Anyway, glad you are feeling the creative inspiration.
@sjdemartini7 жыл бұрын
Gotcha, no worries. Yeah, I'll think about making a video focused on the writing/producing process, and I'll try to come up with some things that could be useful to people, focused on some different content than what might already be out there. Thanks again for the support.

fuck yea dude sounds sick what were your lead plugins that you used, sounds clean as
@sjdemartini7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ben! I appreciate the feedback. For the most part, I wasn't using many plugins in my DAW. Just the builtin EQ and compression plugins in Reaper for mixing, and then iZotope Ozone for mastering (compression and limiting, plus some pretty subtle exciter and imager use). The guitar tones on tracks 1, 5, and 6 used Guitar Rig 3 and 4, and I used a Fractal Axe-Fx II for the rest of the tracks. Hope that helps, let me know if you have other questions!
